Ok cool, so that includes sororities, and minority frats and sororities?
Oh and any other gatherings like all the Alphabet Mafia groups?

Well of course not. That's totally different. Because shutup.

It’s been 20 years since I was on campus, but didn’t LSU ban fraternity house parties in the last couple of years as well or was that only for recently suspended or reinstated fraternities?

Like every similar decision made at schools across the country over the past couple decades, including specifically LSU, pushing the fraternity debauchery off campus is NOT safer and does not improve outcomes, or conditions for pledges etc. That means more drugs, less oversight, and an even greater hesitance to involve authorities when needed because now you’ve got a private property situation involved.

The only reason it’s done is to blunt the schools potential future civil liability—it’s not about students or their safety.

Honestly I can't believe uptight leftist trash have allowed college parties to last this long.

Leftist NE schools have been sucking for awhile now. Why do you think so many NE kids are heading south to enroll in SEC/southern schools

Like the parties won’t move off campus. At least on campus there are some safeguards and stricter rules can be enforced by the school. Now all the town’s whores will be in danger.

The responsible thing for them to do is ban all parties, and especially ones with dancing. It’s the dancing that creates all the ruckus, I seent it myself on Footloose.

With all the shite going on with this, I’d bet you billions that, currently, a gang bang at a fraternity party on campus is not even on the list of things the admin has to worry about right now.

Might even be the safest time in the history of Cornell for a woman to go to a frat party and not worry about a gang bang, or even a single bang in the house!

I need to ask: Do you intentionally post click-bait knowing that the articles you post do not support your thread titles, or do you not read the articles you post?

This article does not say that Cornell banned fraternity parties. It clearly says that it is banning parties at fraternity houses. There is no evidence to support the notion that Cornell fraternities cannot have parties at all.

Similarly, on the Soccer Board, you posted this tread : Netflix has secured exclusive boradcasting rights to the 2030 FIFA World Cup

The article you linked clearly stated that it secured the rights to broadcast the tournament in Spain.

Do you get paid for clicks?

Let's recap

Whore has gangbang

She has multiple texts about gangbang and how much she liked it and it was her choice

gets disinvited from Halloween party for being such a whore

Freaks out

Sues everyone, including two guys she admits to them being way more intoxicated than her and has texts saying how much she liked it, and another guy who came to check on her, she told him she was fine, and he left

No more parties

That's the way liberal and leftist academics think. No wonder they can believe so many stupid things.

Seems like a classic first amendment violation of the freedom of association. Cornell students would like to associate with their fraternity brothers and other sorority members - especially the fraternities that had no involvement in this. Cornell bans their gatherings. Open and shut.

InB4 “but Cornell is a private university.” No, actually they aren’t entirely. Some of their colleges are state funded.

My experience with my sons frats were that the university owned the frat house or at least the property the house sat on.

The university makes the rules because of that. Two years after my oldest graduated, his frat was banned for whatever and the next school year a different set of Greek letters were on the house.

Parties didn't happen in the house. The house was for living and formal pictures. Parties happened in rental houses off campus and followed local laws, not the whims of the university.

I was GDI, so I'm not an expert.
