I'm thinking about asking for a raise at my current job and wanted some input on what I should be asking for or if I'm getting paid like I should be.

Info:
Bachelor CM LSU 2012
Been working at small GC in BR since 2013
So been here for 6 years.
Last raise was 3 years ago.

Making 60k,plus 600/mo truck+cell check
5k bonus every dec.

No profit sharing / 401k plan
No health benefits (I just buy thru marketplace)

I love the job, we do about 3-5 mil in projects a year. I do the estimating, about 40% of the project management, and go to progress meeting etc..

What should I be looking for or how much am I underpaid?

If anyone wants to chat about it but wants privacy:

TIA

Engineering PM's are making triple that with full benefits. I would look to change industries and go more industrial if possible.

Forgive me but is the vehicle/cell stipend taxable?

If so, you're only really receiving $400/mo

60K + 4800 + $5k = You're getting screwed each year

You’re either in a job that doesn’t really require a CM degree, you’re highly under paid, or you make a lot of mistakes in your job that your boss has to fix which is why you’re not paid more.

Man, no offense but that’s absolutely horrible. Get on with a different company. You are being screwed. You should be over 100k by now easily.

Go work at Starbucks. They probably have better benefits than your current job.

6 years and last raise was 3 years ago and 60K is it?

Time to find another job bro

eta my first year out of college many years ago, I was paid 62K and I made a 15K bonus the first year. You are really underpaid.

Change to industrial.

You’ll make 2.5x that off the bar and have 401k, insurance, etc....no truck allowance though and i work industrial.
