I use a RainBird water sprinkler mounted to the hose. You can get them in different patterns and adjust easily for the cost of $5....

The road has been there over a century now per old topo maps from 1921. The people at risk for flooding in EBR built way after that....

This isn't true. The dam was installed because the lake is already at full capacity and they want to be able to control the levels. Without the dam the road runs a risk of washing out and all ...

According to historical maps Alligator Bayou road has been in place ,"blocking the natural basin" with many homes since at least 1921.
