You’re talking about allowing small engines used for pleasure vs small engines used to clean houses. Yeah, not really the same.

Sound freaking carries. We just purchased 20 acres last year. Quiet as can be, we move in and about a week later sitting on the porch it begins.

Generator for an RV. Runs day and night. 400 yards away, through the trees. Still could hear it. New neighbors building a house.

I remember the day it stopped, it was glorious to return to peace

Thankfully my HOA banned fishing.

Hang tight brother. Before long they'll enforce dress codes and will not allow people to do things in their front yards.

The obvious OT solution is to go visit the guy’s wife and PIIHB

Many times restrictions on small lakes are to prevent fuel spills not noise

Let's see, our country has spiraling crime, corrupt governments, inflation through the roof, a whole generation of sexual confusion, deteriorating infrastructure, border crisis and an unexplained health issue. And now we got someone mowing grass and disturbing you while trying to fish on a private lake. I think I'll just jot that down on my "I don't care" list.

I absolutely loathe HOA’s . My neighborhood didn’t have one when we moved here. Things were fine. One was formed and now we have the Nazi party in power. If we ever move it will be somewhere without an HOA

If you want to feel isolated and with nature go actually be isolated and lost with nature. Get the frick out of your neiborhood pond. Lazy bullshite craziness...is why I quit being the HOA President for our neighborhood. Stupid people are like roaches

I’m actually thinking about bringing up banning gas lawn lowers and weed eaters at my next HOA meeting. Some people like to cut too early and going to battery equipment would be much better for the neighborhood.

People love to complain about HOAs, but 90% of the time the actual assocation itself and its covenants aren't the problem and exist for really good reasons. It's the annoying owners like OP that bring up shite like this that gives them a bad name

So you’re mad that he’s maintaining his property and playing his part in keeping your property values up?

Right? I can see complaining about a late night party or something, but the guy is maintaining his property. As long as he’s not out at 3 am doing it, who cares.

If you read OP he specifically said he was trolling as outboard motors aren't allowed

When you just can't get enough government out of the federal, state, county, and city, there's always
