Well, it IS hydrochloric acid...
I remember my residency in Philadelphia where in the winter, the street people would swallow all kinds of junk, including razor blades, then present to the ER. They would be rushed to surgery for removal of the junk, then get a few weeks of 3 hots and a cot in a nice warm place. Helluva way to live.

Most liquids when they freeze, or solidify, become more dense. Water does not, it crystallizes. Hence why ice floats.
Because of this fact of water, life on Earth was able to develop. The ice would have sunk to the bottom of lakes and rivers, more than likely killing off early organisms that ultimately became more advanced over time.

String girdling Earth is a mathematical puzzle with a counterintuitive solution. In a version of this puzzle, string is tightly wrapped around the equator of a perfectly spherical Earth. If the string should be raised 1 metre (3 ft 3 in) off the ground, all the way along the equator, how much longer would the string be?
Alternatively, 1 metre (3 ft 3 in) of string is spliced into the original string, and the extended string rearranged so that it is at a uniform height above the equator. Quoted from wiki
And it’s the same for any spherical object.

Math, the subject, is incomplete.
There are true mathematical statements that can never be proven.
Crazy.

First off, let me apologize for the brevity of my answers. I'm on my phone and that somewhat limits my reply.
I wasn't talking about that. You specifically said "evolution" and entropy weren't possible based on thermodynamics. I was talking about how entropy doesn't apply in a system where we unlimited energy supplied by the sun. Then you make the jump to "abiogenesis". In the mind of a scientist, those two thing aren't even remotely the same.
In its simplest form, evolution is simply the change in a population's gene frequency over time. This change can occur due to processes like natural selection, genetic drift, mutation, and gene flow. It doesn’t even have to lead to discernable (visible) differences in those populations. That's quite a bit different that the spontaneous generation of biological molecules and even life from natural chemical processes.
So if you are truly going to try and tear down something you don't fully understand, at least get the definitions of those processes correct in your arguments.
Eta: Along with being a scientist. I'm a Christian too. I don't let the reality of the physical, chemicsl and biological world get in the way of my faith. My thoughts are God has revealed the truth of the universe to us as we are capable of understanding it. To me, the knowledge of the minutia of how the Universe works makes God's perfect world MORE glorious, not less. To wit, does it make the creation any less miraculous if God created the world incremental ovet time vs the 7 day creation story? Most folks who take a hard stand on this are afraid of nonbelievers chipping away at the Bible by saying, "Well if Genesis 1 isn't true what else isn't true?" The problem is, how else are you going to explain it to people 2,500 years ago in a way that people of that time could understand it?
As our knowledge of the world has changed, of course the story has to change too. In reality it is better acknowledge what we have learned (or what God has revealed to us) than to deny it. The later does more harm to the faith than good. IE Galileo and the helico-centric view of the universe.

It would take about 6.35 quadrillion years to count all the stars in the observable universe, counting at a rate of 1 star per second.

In my first post I said "evolution" (even put it in quotes) so your claim to have misunderstood is fair and a result of my imprecision in terminology. Mea culpa. However, it was clear from the rest of my post that I was and am talking about abiogenesis, which you are clearly not defending.
I appreciate your taking the time to respond. I used to think the way you claim to until relatively recently. I finally came to the conclusion through much study that my position was philosophically incoherent and also not as biblical as I imagined.

I could be wrong but I seem to remember from physics class that water actually changers density when it reaches about 4°C. So the cold water sinks so all the water has to roughly reach the freezing point before a body of water starts to freeze.
Edit: Cold water sinks until it reaches 4° then it changes density and rises to the top.
