Sunday should be the last time change ever in America going forward.

Driving home today at 5pm after 9 hours in the office with the sun out on the drive home…

We should just split the difference and call it good. The rest of the world be damned.

I go to work every morning before the sun comes up. Most days I’ve already had my first meeting of the day before daylight.

Yeah to hell with that. I hate existing at work in the dark. Today was great. Get home and have daylight to burn. Got to throw the baseball with my son tonight.

I like being able to cut my grass over two evenings if I want and have my weekend free of yard work.

Life is good. Get off work and go get an hour or so of recreational gas burning in my Cessna. Erase the work day.

You say this until it’s the middle of June, 95 degrees, and the sun doesn’t set until 8:30. Might be an unpopular opinion, but during the summer I want the sun to go down as quickly as possible
So do the people in the Southwest. Being on the east coast and not ballz hot all the time like you guys, I'm Team More Evening Daylignt but I certainly get it. I would adapt.

We need to pick one and leave it that way.

It’s already almost Tour season?! Time goes faster and faster the older we get. It makes no sense. It was just Christmas.
The cruel side being the pedal strokes get slower and slower to the time going faster. Gonna be a good year

I like it mainly for the dogs.

I can sleep later and have more time in the afternoon to walk them and run around instead of doing it in the morning.

And you can cut your grass on the weekday evenings and leave the weekend free like the other poster said.

Did we do it?

Did we save the daylight?

Yes. Time saved is not relative to the hours in the day. It is relative to the working man's hours. Is it really necessary anymore? No, but now we have more natural light hours after work. For the vast majority of working people this is true. It is still practical, as we're heading into the time of year with more outdoor maintenance, which is nice to get done during the week, after work.

I like it getting dark at 6pm, that’s my bedtime.

How about you just show up at work at 0630 and leave at 1500? More hours in the afternoon!

What time did you get home from work? 4pm? Because it was dark at my house by 7.

Yeah I'd trade daylight from 7:45-8:45pm for light in the morning. It's 95 degrees and miserable anyway and I'm winding down by that time of the evening

100%. It’s unnatural for it to be light outside so close to bedtime.

Yep. And it's only going to get worse.
