This baker has the right to refuse service as a business owner. Sure that makes him a petty jerk who is dying on a weird hill, but the original folks should have just said “okay dick, we’ll find someone else to make our cake”. Leave a bad review and be done with it. I have no clue what a gender transition cake is, other than a tool to pile-on this guy.

As a white guy, if i go in a black owned establishment and they decide to not serve me....ok cool. Dont like it, take to protesting and use capitalism to change their minds by hurting their business.

Oddly enough, I thought about this before as well. I think it was kind of needed at the time, but I definitely see the slippery slope it began. If as a black man, a white business owner did not want to serve me. frick them, Id rather go elsewhere where my business is desired and who provides excellent customer service.

I do wonder in the earlier times once this law went into effect, at that time, alot of white people were definitely still racist. Just how many black people were forced to drink a milkshake where the staff spat in, or ate food where the staff peed in the batter.

I do think we are at a day and time where this is no longer needed. Id love for a store owner to be able to say "I dont want to serve you food because you are black/white/asian/hispanic/muslim/jew/christian". I say they should have the right to do so. And customers would have the right to move on and go to another business who will happily serve them. With Yelp, Google reviews, twitter, etc. I think in today's age anyone taking a stand like that would quickly regret the decision

They set this dude up. They were hoping to get a reaction again and he took the bait. This case was widely publicized, there is no way these trans freaks didn't know about it.
