Show me all the Democrat leaders fighting for the Baker from this case or the original case

In fact, the Dems from the USSC voted against the Baker....

A vote for Dems is a vote against the Baker. Not an opinion, just a fact

here is one you likely voted for

quote:

Rep. John Lewis, Democrat of Georgia, was one of the members of Congress named in the brief. He said he was “proud” to join his colleagues and help “move forwards, not backwards” on civil rights protections. “No American should have to endure the humiliation that David Mullins and Charlie Craig experienced,” he said. Recalling discrimination against black Americans during the height of the civil rights era, he underscored the importance that the “laws of the land protect and serve all those in our nation.”

God Damn you're thick.

you said, "People that actively force their beliefs onto others are the #1 problem in the world"

i said, "exactly. i'm not sure how the national media, big tech, and woke corporations sleep at night."

eluding to the fact that your boogeyman 'forcing beliefs onto others' is the left leaning 'woke' national media, big tech, and corporations forcing employees to take diversity training.

As a gay man I would like to point out that transgender people are actually the homophobes. Taking hormone drugs and going as far as surgery just to keep from saying you're a feminine gay or a butch lesbian is as homophobic as it comes.

Wait wut??? Jaguarsfanconfusedguy

This baker has the right to refuse service as a business owner. Sure that makes him a petty jerk who is dying on a weird hill, but the original folks should have just said “okay dick, we’ll find someone else to make our cake”. Leave a bad review and be done with it. I have no clue what a gender transition cake is, other than a tool to pile-on this guy.

This is a terrible comparison.

But its weird that you described "forcing beliefs onto others" as my "boogeyman"

Look man, I cant stand the bullshite war on drugs and the fight agaisnt gay marriage and other social platforms that the Republicans do

So I have to just admit that and be ok with that when I vote for them

You need to admit that your vote for Dems is supporting the forcing of personal beliefs on business if they think differently, ridiculous gun laws, and other such things

They were never interested in actually buying the cake. Their only interest is to force him to make it.

frick these people. This is why the civil rights act was bullshite. A business should be able to decline business to anyone they please.

As a white guy, if i go in a black owned establishment and they decide to not serve me....ok cool. Dont like it, take to protesting and use capitalism to change their minds by hurting their business.

Oddly enough, I thought about this before as well. I think it was kind of needed at the time, but I definitely see the slippery slope it began. If as a black man, a white business owner did not want to serve me. frick them, Id rather go elsewhere where my business is desired and who provides excellent customer service.

I do wonder in the earlier times once this law went into effect, at that time, alot of white people were definitely still racist. Just how many black people were forced to drink a milkshake where the staff spat in, or ate food where the staff peed in the batter.

I do think we are at a day and time where this is no longer needed. Id love for a store owner to be able to say "I dont want to serve you food because you are black/white/asian/hispanic/muslim/jew/christian". I say they should have the right to do so. And customers would have the right to move on and go to another business who will happily serve them. With Yelp, Google reviews, twitter, etc. I think in today's age anyone taking a stand like that would quickly regret the decision

such bullshite.
This. Totally agreed. I mean, outright discrimination over arbitrary shite is stupid when you're running a business because l money spends the same, but at the same time, common sense dictates I don't spend my money with businesses that don't want it. Thse people are targeting him in order to get him to change his religious views. Why do we never about them trying to force this on Jewish or Muslim owned bakeries? We all know why.

They set this dude up. They were hoping to get a reaction again and he took the bait. This case was widely publicized, there is no way these trans freaks didn't know about it.

I guess getting "diddled" made me believe discrimination against the LGBTQ community is wrong...which is just the opposite of what you would expect.

That said, if a private business, not receiving federal funds or Government assistance, should be able to refuse service. Like a bar when someone is too drunk.

has nothing to do with discrimnation. A private business should be able to tell anyone and everyone to frick off. Bad business but it sure as frick isnt the governments business.

If you actually knew me in real life you wouldn't make that statement. I only said Jesus Christ because your statement on initial reading seemed very extreme without context.

The Civil Rights Bill itself did do a lot of good for people but yes it has opened the door for all kinds of insane ideology and practices to come into frame.
