They do $65,000 worth of tests for $2800.
At a hospital nicer than Cedars Sinai, with no wait at all.

I hear the prep is the worst part. Picked up my kit from the pharmacy last night. Not looking forward to this.

Just had my first one last month. The prep was definitely the worst part but not as bad as I feared. Just trying to drink 8 oz of that stuff every 20 minutes was disgusting. Spent most of the night before on the toilet. I was under for the procedure. Went in at 6:30 am and was back home by 9:30.

years ago I had a colonoscopy in the morning. That afternoon I hooked up my fifth wheel, drove two hours to a campground and backed that sucker in. Just sayin

If you would have wrecked and killed someone, just know that you would have been charged with manslaughter. Don't give a damn how you "feel", I'm sure drunks feel good as well, you know, right before they kill people.

It's what is in your system, not how you feel

Do it without being knocked out. Hurts for about 1 hour but you wont be napping and no side effects.

I was fine an hour after mine. They tell you not to drive and you shouldn't but everyone reacts differently to getting put under.

I've had 12 colonoscopies over the last 11 years because the first one I had found stage 4 colon cancer.

The prep is a breeze compared to 6 months of chemotherapy. You'll be fine. Good luck.

And don't drive that day.....

Please wait until the next day to drive. You will still have the drugs in your system that afternoon. It's not worth the risk.

Change plan. You should not be behind the wheel.

The 12 hours before, you'll be sitting on a toilet.

Better take you ipad charger into the toilet room.

They'll make you drink some nasty sprite like stuff.

Depending on the type of anesthesia. The kind I had, yes, you could drive much later that afternoon.

Meh, it wasn't that terrible tasting. The shitting, though, is. Nurse told me that people actually try to show up for the procedure without doing the prep, like no one would notice.

Post anesthesia driving is deceptively dangerous.

My doc wouldn't do it unless I had someone with me that drove.

Have had two, put it off for many years (stupid) and then decided to get it. The VA paid for mine, my Doctors office runs you thru like cattle, but it is some damn fine looking heifers running you thru. Grin and bare it.
