Polyps are fine if they catch them early!

Which is why you are doing this.

My prep was "Suprep". The first bottle was disgusting, but the second bottle wasn't as bad because I chugged it and chased it with cold water.

The time spent on the shitter wasn't bad, because I had been going 10-12 times a day anyway (hence the need for the procedure).

For the third one I cheated a bit and took expat two days before procedure and only had to take one dose of the prep.... and I was done with the toilet by midnight.....

You will be too groggy from the drugs to do it safely.

Also, you probably will have to sign a waver saying that you won't drive for 24 hours before they do the procedure. If you are driving and have a wreck...you are pretty much screwed liability-wise.

A lot of incorrect information in here, as usual. You won't be shitting after the exam. That's the point of the drink or pills -- you shite everything out before the exam. You'll be starving after the exam. On the way home, pick up something to eat and get back in bed for a few hours. You can drive after you sleep off the medicine for a while.

Having had one in the morning then driving from Houston to LC that afternoon I would not recommend it. Depends on what they put you out with.

Houston used ahit that puts you in a twilight. Still awake watching the procedure. When you get back to your recover they give you something to counteract and you snap right back to it. Get up and walk out. It's crazy. In LC they'd knock you the frick out cold.

Different places do different things.

Just so everyone knows, I’ve changed up my plans and won’t be driving until the next day. No reason to chance it just to sleep an extra day at the parents. Thanks for all the advice and now I’ll be praying for no polyps!!

smart decision. and it really is no big deal. the prep is not fun, but almost worth it for the a day of the best sleep you will ever have
