Ellis Stansel rice, used to you could call um up and a seven year old would take your order and you would get a bill a week or so later. Probably not like that now. They had two pound bags of the best rice you ever tasted, made perfect gifts....

Have had two, put it off for many years (stupid) and then decided to get it. The VA paid for mine, my Doctors office runs you thru like cattle, but it is some damn fine looking heifers running you thru. Grin and bare it....

Thank you for posting this, made me take a moment and think about my mother. As a kid I would come running into the house and could smell the rutabagas cooking. I would holler, Momma is cooking rutabagas, which was great because me and Mom were the only ones in the family that liked them. ...
