I hear the procedure is a breeze. The prep wasn’t too bad. I haven’t eaten a bite of anything since Wednesday around 7 pm. I drank a bunch of tea, water, and a couple boxes of broth yesterday.
Honestly thought I’d be a lot hungrier. I needed to lose weight anyway.

Colonoscopy’s are easy cheesy. The prep is brutal. I always just say Inam a little to hard to put under. They take care of the rest. You will not even know it happened other than feeling drowsy from the meds after. You will be able to eat almost right away just normal. Your anus will be fine.

Nah, new guidelines start at 45. They did a pretty good study and the biggest cohort increase was < 50, so they dropped initial screening to 45 if no other current or familial risks

Just don't freak out if after you wake up and a bunch of doctors are smiling and zipping their pants up.
I have heard they like to initiate patients on their first colonoscopy that way.
