Up til 3 last night playing peacekeeper between alkie BIL and SIL who hate each other and can't hold their liquor. I threw in the towel and sent my wife down to deal with them. They gone now and have to ride back to ATL together, should be an agonizing ride for them.

Had our family Christmas this last Saturday.

No drama. We all get along pretty well.

My moms annoying some times and my dad rolls his eyes a good bit in those moments but that’s about the extent of it.

Nothing huge, but my MIL and FIL are building a new house and are staying at the family cabin in the mean time.... He's an old baw who hates having his routine disrupted so he's not doing super well with that...well for some reason my BIL thought he would bring his family of 4 to stay to cram into that cabin with them starting Saturday through Christmas... If my BIL get's choked out I'll totally understand it

Tough guy, eh? If family drama is going to happen, there ain’t a damned thing you can do about it.

Drank a whole twelve pack at the in-laws Saturday and I cruised through that shite show. Had a great time with my family on Sunday even though the old man boycotted due to a dispute with my sis/hostess. I hate that the last years of his life are being spent picking fights and pouting

A bunch of friends and myself did a secret santa this year.

Just opened/shared gifts and realized one of the guys regifted his that he received earlier this week. Said his person didn't "try hard enough so why should he?"

This is what a male who plays secret Santa sounds like.

Last year we started spending Christmas at home. Just me, the wife and kids. No drama. Should have started this 10 years ago. I highly recommend it.

Just me, the wife and the cat. If that little fricker starts anything he's not getting any prime rib.

Have you seen this yet? It’s an SNL skit with Eddie Murphy that just played this past weekend.

My family typically doesn’t have any drama. We have some complete retards that the family shits on but nothing publicly. Overall I keep to myself and only speak when spoken to and it works pretty well.

The family gathering starts in about an hour. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. There shouldn’t be any issues. However, we have a family member coming that likes to be difficult and make a scene. My patience is pretty short with this person already.

My wife has a nephew that everyone has known to be gay for about 5 years. Now he is in college. This past year he has embraced the pride aspect of the LGBT community; shirtless marching in chaps, overt gay social media posts, even crossdressing as a woman and posting pics on social media.

My wife and I and a couple other cousins are the only ones who really talk to him anymore. Her family, strangely enough southern intolerant Democrats, are not on board with his new lifestyle.

This evening should be fun...

What does that even? They’re Democrats who don’t like the south? And they also don’t like gay people? Do they like anyone?

Tough guy.... Yes, yes when I need be. But I'm guessing unlike like you I am the man of the house and have never ever had to demand respect for myself, my kids or others in our house. It's just understood.

Everyone coming to my house tonight. Wife melted the frick down an hour ago. Yelling at everyone in the house about how we aren’t helping, not cleaning, etc, etc, etc.

I literally ran to Starbucks (about 4 miles). Chilling out a bit before I go back home and start cooking.
