I didn't see one like the one we had for Thanksgiving so I figured I would start it. So far, it's been pretty quiet except my dad is trying to leave as soon as possible to avoid my mom. How about you baws?

My family loves each other unconditionally so there’s been no drama nor will there be.

Well, I appear to have picked a pretty shittily stocked bar to post up in, so....there may be some drama in a couple hours or so.

There will be some action later when politics is brought up.

Let’s just say the opioid epidemic is a real thing and addiction doesn’t care who you are.

I love a good drink and even the occasional toke but addiction may be the worst of all human habits. Sucks to watch a close family member to this to themselves, especially during Christmas.

Dear, OT.

My BIL's family is trying to convince their mom to give up driving. Pretty sad.

My Christmas drama is the same shite year after year. My sister in law bitching and complaining until she gets her way. Even if her plans change multiple times. It pisses me off but it’s one of the battles I don’t want to fight.

Taking the keys from my dad was one of the most heart breaking thing we had to do. Dementia sucks, especially during this time of year.

There is 364 other days to have drama..... It's not tolerated at my house during Christmas or any other holiday.

Wife is already upset today. Her dad was supposed to go to breakfast with her, but forgot about it and already ate.

Backstory: She was an oops baby when her Mom & Dad were 18. Dad & Mom never married. Dad is now married w/ 2 kids. My wife thinks she is the long lost forgotten child.

Spent 12 hours in airports to get to the In Laws. Walk into the house and future MIL pours her and myself a big fat glass of Tito’s. Now sleeping off jet lag. Heading to Torrey Pines this afternoon. No drama so far.

The wife is working today so we aren't with the family yet. I did find out that my ex-wife was volunteering to help out an uncle who can't really take care of himself. My mom and me warned the family it was a bad idea after she tried to clean me out 5 years ago. They chose to ignore the warning and she cleaned out his bank account. Not sure how he's going to pay his bills now.
