If your car is low to the ground it’s possible that you could’ve sucked up some water triggering a mass airflow sensor (MAFS) hiccup. Be thankful you didn’t hydrolock as your engine would be toast.

just ignore it and it will go off after a day or two
if not then go to any auto parts store and they will read the code and tell you what part you need to replace
9 out of 10 times its the o2 sensor on your exhaust system gets wet and throws a code. after the wires dry out the code no longer there so the light goes off

I learned about that in the 80's working for a car dealer in Tulsa after the Memorial Day Flood. Had 89 cars flooded in downtown as they just had unloaded 3 haulers onto the overflow lot that day. We cleaned up 37 for sale under factory warranty with Detroit sending Rep down to check them out. Rest went to trade schools for them to practice on. The Isuzu's all had to be crushed, not one screw or bolt removed which was a shame, they had nice stereos in the sports cars.

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect. It should reset. If the light comes back on take it in.

Check engine lights are rarely major unless flashing.

Get a code reader. They're cheap and you'll know what's going on. Handy to have around as well. Or go to Autozone and get them to read it for you.
Engine crank sensor, primary oxygen sensor, and secondary oxygen sensor can be low enough for water to splash on one of them and cause problems. You might give it a day of two to dry out if you're not seeing any performance issues.

Go to autozone and they will use their code reader to tell you what is wrong. You can also buy a cheap one online and do it yourself.

Ruined the transmission range sensor on my Allison after a lake road excursion in Madisonville one night. that's a pain in the arse to change.

You might have messed up some sensors. Remove the cap on your gas tank, dry it off as well as the area on the car.. Put it back on and see if that does the trick.
If not, go to autozone and let them run a free diagnostics on it.
