Sold a vehicle to them, no issues what so ever. Was shocked with their price offer. I think it's really vehicle dependent as they don't really track the Kelly Blue book prices etc

They buy assets and then ship them to where they can sell them for the most profit.
Got high Blue Book. Got the check when they took the SUV and they didn't test drive it.

Most painless vehicle purchase I've ever had. I took about a week to reasearch & find the right car on the site. Put the down payment online & 2 days later it was in my driveway.
Honestly, it's not much more difficult than buying something off Amazon.

Selling to carvana is extremely easy.

Sold two cars with them. Be honest about the car and you will get the offer.
They came to me, looked at the car, and handed me a check.

Seems like they’ve made a fairly consumer friendly model that allows most consumers to get less fricked than they usually would at a dealership.

We sold a vehicle to them. Entered all the info online and they gave me a quote. When we took it to them they gave it a Quick Look and confirmed. Money was in my account within 24 hours IIRC. Definitely cost me some money not doing private sale, but was willing to lose a little to avoid the hassle. It was waaaay more than what dealerships were willing to give on a trade in.

I sold them a '23 Cayenne S back in December of this past year. Got a great offer - about 4K USD over Carmax in-person appraisal and they came and picked it up at my house and took it away on one of their flat bed trucks. It was a low mileage perfect car and I they took me at my word on the condition. I uploaded all the documents and I think the process was done within about 5 days of starting it. Money was direct deposited into my account very quickly. Having the title in hand makes it very easy, not sure how the process goes if selling them one that has a lien.
I sold to them because I bought another car remotely and didn't want to deal with trade-in process. I feel like the strong Carvana offer more than made up for any tax savings I would've had on a straight trade.

Was about to buy a Tahoe that looked pristine. They claimed to have inspected it. Took it to a mechanic and he found out it was actually a flooded car. There was rust and grass all up inside the engine. Thank God I did that because it was probably months away from disaster.
Years later I got a new car from somewhere else. Old car needed a ton of work. Sold it to them for above Blue Book. They didn’t even inspect it.
That sums them up.

Don't they have really high financing rates?

Can't comment on buying one from them.

Sell but don’t buy. They are notorious for flipping cars with hidden mechanical issues. If you do buy from them, get a private inspection within the 7 day return window.
