re: Carvana Experiences?
Posted by lsufan0229 on 7/26/26 at 10:10 am to cassopher
I went to dealerships for a couple of months to test drive different cars. Once I settled on what model I wanted, I found one on Carvana. It was nice to not have to deal with sales guys at a dealership for hours. I signed all of the paperwork on my computer, and it was in my driveway 3 days later. It was the price we wanted, no hidden fees, and a really easy process. We have had the car for a couple of months, and we are happy with our decision.

Another short lived flop in BR was Bluefish Grill off of Corporate. They had that huge arse aquarium in the middle of the restaurant. Always liked that place as a kid
I worked at Blue Fish Grill in college. I made no money, but I had fun working there. One day, there was no schedule up, and we were informed they were closing the doors in a week.

Yesteryear. Everyone is putting it as a book club book, but I finished and can't figure out if I liked it or hated it.

Webb charges kids under 18 $5 to play. For those kids whose parents are not members of a golf course, it keeps them active and out of trouble. It would suck if they took this option away.
re: Seaside 30a Brawl - Is it really this bad?

We were there as well and saw the police and ambulance a street over. This is why we don’t let our teens go to random parties down there. They think we worry too much, but this proves why.
re: Anyones Delta gas bill for Feb in Baton Rouge is ridiculously high?

We were usually under $100 before Delta took over. It has increased every month since. We just got a bill for almost $400 for February.

Wrong Billy Bob. He is talking about Ron Lester who played Billy Bob in Varsity Blues. He passed away in 2016.

Protein on a salad
Posted by lsufan0229 on 1/22/26 at 10:01 am
My spouse and I went to dinner last night and both got salads. We got into a discussion about whether the protein that comes on the salad should be warm or cold. We can't seem to agree on this. Thoughts from OT?
re: Has anyone ever made it through a whole stick of chapstick using as directed?
Posted by lsufan0229 on 1/21/26 at 12:00 pm to Splackavellie
Beside the bed chapstick and purse chapstick get finished. If it is in my car, it either melts or gets stolen by someone in the family.
re: How often do you actually sit down and read a book?
Posted by lsufan0229 on 1/21/26 at 9:45 am to CBandits82
4-5 times a week. I will usually read most of the weekend or at night to wind down. My goal is 100 books a year.

My husband hid my son's fart machine in the area where their admin checked in clients coming in for meetings. When the client was checking in, he would hit the remote and it would make loud fart sounds. His admin was mortified.
One time he took a screenshot of someone's desktop, made that the background, and hid all of the icons. His coworker was trying to prepare for a presentation that morning, but every time he tried to click on an icon nothing worked.

His speech has been nothing but classy. I can’t wait to see what he does for this program.

I have pretty much stopped drinking during the week. I drink a seltzer before bed. It relaxes me, and I sleep like a baby. I wake up feeling great.

They already have an office in BR. It will just be the main headquarters now and not the Mobile office.

To go from watching him in Sons of Anarchy to this is wild. He is a talented actor.

Great show so far. It did creep me out that the mom was so comfortable with her son showering. ???? I was not expecting all of this from the title of the show.
