That’s unfortunate. What is it about celebrities that they kill themselves? Rhetorical question. I know the answer.

About 25 yrs ago we were on Maui. Carrot Top was walking with us to a marina with two hot looking skanks, one on each arm. That's all I have.

I heard he made a movie called Box Office Poison.

Saw him at SELU's University Center back in 1989

It looks like he attempted suicide due to sexual assault allegations made by 2 men

Ran into him at the farmers market a few weeks ago. Dude looks like shite. His legs are toothpicks.

The need to be famous comes from a very dark place. Some of them get it and realize it doesn’t fix anything. It usually just makes things worse.

A buddy of mine used to say this was the order of worst to best:
1. Famous and poor
2. Poor and not famous
3. Famous and rich
4. Rich and not famous

The first Twitter comment made me loudly laugh at like 4:30 am
“Do you have a history of depression?”
“I’ve been Carrot Top since 1991”

He’s mentally unstable and ill. Suicide is a desperate cry for help and attention.

Bingo .
I used to think it would be cool to be rich and famous.. even today, I would never want to trade lives with anyone else, but if I did, it'd be with someone who's worth multiple millions or billions, but is relatively anonymous.... And yeah, I cant imagine too many worse circumstances in life than being famous and poor.. imagine paparazzi stalking you, and everyone and their mother commenting about you and having an opinion about you- but you have no ability to insulate yourself, or to travel to places where people dont know you, and do fun things ..,. Would suck 100% .

Notice it doesn’t say Comedian Carrot Top. Should say Box Office Poison
Man, talk about an insensitive crowd. Guy is in such a bad place mentally and emotionally that he thinks the best way to end it is to kill himself and the first thing you think of is Norm blasting him for his one box office bomb.
His shows pull in $8 million a year. He is a comedian by trade, not an actor. Longest running show in Vegas in a terrible venue is no small feat.
Incidentally, Carrot Top’s estimated net worth is about 25x what Norm’s was (although Norm liked to gamble it all away and Carrot Top doesn’t). Oh the irony. Norm would have a field day with his own roast if he were alive and followed up on his career versus Carrot Top’s 30 years later. Norm was the best!!!

I don’t want to be known at all.
Carrot Top can’t vanish though.
If I had his net worth, I would build a cabin in the middle of secluded country or a smallish town in the Midwest and do my best to escape it all.
Even if he hates the fame, I highly doubt he could just give it up.
These people get addicted to it.
That doesn’t even get into any other addictions he has.
Man, if I had that type of money, I would have so many hobbies and would spend so much time reading books.
