I love when these threads pop up. It’s so funny to watch the smokers work themselves up to the point where they ironically have to take a cigarette break from posting to calm down.

I don't smoke and I'm missing part of a lung. I also don't go places that have a heavy smoking contingent. I just believe in property rights.

Not this time. They were the reason the previous attempts to ban smoking failed, but they weren't able to block it this time. It's banned in casinos too come June.

I tend to agree that the cigar bars shouldn't have been exempted, but the ordinance would not have passed had they included them too. It was a compromise in the name of public health. As people become more and more educated about the dangers of second-hand smoke, I'm sure the cigar bars are living on borrowed time.
Good thing big brother government is watching out for us though!

It's sad how many people would prefer growing the authoritarian state than making a middling decision of patronizing a business that allows smoking. Or, even scarier, they simply don't want other people to make what they deem the wrong decision.

Not if I want to enjoy the casino or my favorite bar. It's your choice to engage in a stupid habit, but the majority of us who are too intelligent to smoke don't need to be infringed upon because you're too weak mentally to kick a harmful, filthy habit.
