I hate smoky bar rooms but I feel like this should be up to the bar owner, not the government

We love our government overreach into the affairs of private establishments, don't we folks.
Should be the owners decision, not the Nanny State. Most places are going smoke free anyway.

Fried foods are bad for you so I propose a fried food ban in the parish because it's for the good of the people.

What does "this state" have do do with the smoking ban? This is a trend all over the country.

Let's support an ordinance that closes George's and their awful food.

I don't care about other states enacting it, and Louisiana is supposedly one of the most "conservative" states out there, yet we still love big government. We refuse to vote for taxes because our government is corrupt as all hell, yet we still allow it to leach into our every day life. So not only do we get the shitty parts of big government, our infrastructure is still awful and our schools blow.

Would this include the Texas Club? I've not gone to concerts there because I didn't want to deal with the smoke in there.

Dumb question, but is it effective upon signature?

Sorry fatty, you have to walk outside the bar to smoke your pall malls now.
Nola did this a few years back and going to the bar is much better now. You don’t smell like an ashetray when you wake up in the morning.
