we agree on this ordinance. I'm just trying to provide some color so that in the future you don't always think all things government related are not good.
I can assure you that the best option we've had for over 100 years is state regulated workers' compensation. And while many slip though the cracks and abuse the system, it overall has benefited our workforce in ways you and I will never have to understand, thankfully.

The previous attempts had cigar bar and hookah/vape bar exemptions. I would hope this does as well, but I am not completely sure.

In New Orleans you can smoke at Dos Jefe’s and the Canal st. Cigar bars.

Good deal. Once this is in effect, I can start going by Happy's Irish Pub again. I've been avoiding it due to the smoking. I can't stand to breath second-hand smoke. I might even start going back to the casinos to play blackjack.

I am pretty certain that cigar bars are exempt from what I've heard and read about the ordinance.

Are you forced to go to bars that allow smoking? If the answer is no, then you have no argument.

Because the government is telling business owners that they can't allow their patrons to engage perfectly legal activities on their own property. If we're concerned about people's health, then they shouldn't be able to serve booze or unhealthy foods either.

I have. But now that the filthy, disgusting habit of smokers infringing on my right to breath clean air in public places will soon be a thing of the past, I can now enjoy my favorite bar again as will the majority of the populace who aren't stupid enough to still smoke in this day and age.
