I worked in Yellowstone Nat. Park in my college yrs & one nite 4 of us were driving down the main road circling the Park, speed limit of 35 MPH. Out of nowhere a large grizzly bear loped past us, leaving us in the dust. Something that big that fast.............................

A grizzly's max speed is 35 so you must have not been going 35.

It is my understanding that Grizzlies have a thing for organs
.(ex. Liver, spleen, kidneys). They will not kill you before they start eating you. So, you will be eaten alive. Starting at your abdomen. Think about that!
For an interesting story, google a guy named Timothy Treadwell.

Bumped a grizzly while hiking in Glacier NP a few years ago. It was one on those instances where you think this can be it and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. Luckily it wasn’t interested and moved on but the experience still gives me chills when I think about it.

Always heard the audio out there is fake but if it is that dude is up there with Daniel Day Lewis, because that's exactly what it would sound like

That dude worked hard to get himself (and his girlfriend) eaten by bears.

I'm sure that is highly variable. They can be fast as frick.
Grizzly bears are some bad mofos

Could have been worse. They could have been alone with a white male with a MAGA hat.

That's why my gun has been with me every time I've gone hiking!

That man actually thought he was friends with the bears. IIRC he named many of them. He was simply stupid and delusional. He wanted to become one with his bear friends, and did.

^^ This^^
Apparently, he thought that he was "accepted" by the Grizzlies. Poor Stupid.
The audio that you can listen to online is a re-creation of the original, which exists but has never been released. Word out on the street is that the original is worst. If that is true, and I don't know that it is, then that would back up the claim that Grizzlies will eat you alive.
Imagine being pinned down by a Grizzly and he starts eating at your abdomen first !

If a grizzer bar decides he wants to eat you, you are probably getting eaten.
People who dont live with them generally don't understand how much of a fricking monster a griz is. Its basically a 600+ pound racoon. They're terrifying.
