It’s not the same thing as Bayou Country. They started this last year and it was a great event. I know the people who put it on, they are good people. Go support this event, we need good things like this around here.

Last year was the inaugural. A friend of mine put it together, the event lost a lot of money due to when it was scheduled.
If it has similar results as last year, I’d expect that you are correct.

I admittedly know nothing about the music festival scene. Why would when it’s scheduled affect revenue? Or is it that overhead is more? Genuinely curious

They were planning to have this in April 2027 but decided against it due to not wanting to compete against Hondo Rodeo Fest the same weekend.
They then announced about a month ago that it was happening again this Fall. Last year’s announcement was back in May. Seems like this year’s lineup is a result of this. Rushed to find whoever they could last minute.
