Tomorrow will be a shite show. They flooded the unity field. All of them will end up on the parade grounds. Somebody will do something dumb. That’s a great mix of people, frat kids and the people who lost their tailgate area and are pissed. Not sure LSU thought this through.

LSU email regarding safety

Posted by bott18240 on 10/13/25 at 11:57 am
Dear LSU Family,

The safety and well-being of the LSU community is our number-one priority. At all times, we seek to ensure students, faculty, staff, fans, and visitors have a safe and positive experience when on our campus.

In light of recent events, we write to assure you that we maintain significant resources to ensure public safety. On game day, we typically have 600 trained on-duty police officers representing LSU Police, local law enforcement, and state agencies to safeguard our community. We take full advantage of advanced technologies, including license plate readers, camera networks, and upgraded lighting, which allows for real-time, campus-wide monitoring and rapid response. Our law enforcement presence is fully coordinated. If individuals commit crime on our campus, they will be arrested, and we will work diligently to ensure conviction.

In the coming days, we will continue to review our resources and protocols to maximize the safety of the daily campus experience. As a community, we must also look out for one another. If you see something that doesn’t look right, say something. By standing together and staying alert, we make LSU safer for everyone.

As we enhance our public safety protocols, we will communicate these changes to our constituents, ensuring our full commitment to protect everyone who comes to our campus.

Sincerely,

Scott Ballard, Chair Matt Lee

LSU Board of Supervisors LSU Interim President

So much respect for what they did. I can’t imagine going to fight in that war at 19.

What does this mean?

It looked like they were totally surprised when he said it. And I meant maybe the fbi didn’t want this out quite yet for one reason or another.
He didn’t give details. Just that a minister and family members turned him in. Did not say a word about the photos or anything. The Fox crew was caught off guard. They may have not wanted to release that yet.
I saw that also. He basically said they have him in custody. And that someone close to him turned him in.
He maybe polarizing to some. But he made clear and concise points that the left couldn’t argue with and he made them look dumb when they tried to debate him. This is just a sad day and nothing will fix these idiots because they are completely out of touch with reality. I hope he holds on.
I don’t think it’s passion about Cracker Barrel in particular. I think people are just tired of the woke, DEI bullshite. After years of being afraid of being cancelled the pendulum is swinging the other way and people are now able to tell that stupid shite to go to hell.
Lotta big financial companies in that building along with NFL HQ and Blackstone.

Definitely looks like he had a vendetta for someone in there

He most likely was asleep because of all that you mentioned. At 4 am after a party and drinking and whatever else. That’s not totally surprising.

I do remember it was highly suspected that he was posting on Reddit/Facebook posts related to the murder. Does anyone know if that was ever officially linked to him?

There is a four part doc on Amazon. They talk about this. There was one user whose picture was cartoonish looking but is an exact replica of a photo of Kohberger. The user asked all kinds of questions that raised a lot of red flags. He also mentioned the knife sheath about a month before that was made public. The questions he asked where basically the same questions he asked in grad school on a crime survey he was doing.
I would imagine this was 100% him.

They may release some things. But it looks like they don’t even know answers. Biggest theory was Maddie or Kaylee blew him off at the restaurant or maybe online. But apparently they couldn’t find any links to them having met. So that kinda throws this into the even more bizarre world.

My guess is he saw them out or something and one of them caught his eye. Thats the exact way Bundy ended up in the Chi O house that night. He was at the bar and saw one he liked and followed her home.

Every plea deal is different. They didn’t require him to confess and give details or motive. It’s a shame cause it will be hard for the families to always wonder why.

Kaylees sister was awesome, she really went at him and was very strong. She walked away with “if Kaylee wasn’t asleep when you came in, she would have kicked your fricking arse”. And then applause broke out.

I don’t believe the dad was charged. He prob didn’t know. But once the sentencing is done they are lifting the gag order so it’s possible a lot more will be learned all around.

I hope they don’t release crime scene photos. Unnecessary at best.

Kohberger sentencing day

So what’s gonna happen today?

Will he speak at all other than yes or no responses to the judge? I highly doubt it.

Will the families let him have it? I hope so, I hope Kaylees dad goes after him.

Update- As expected, four life sentences.
The coward declined to speak but family and friends let him have it. Hopefully them calling him a loser, ugly and everything else stays with him and that’s all he can think about. But typically those serial killer types enjoy it.

No motive given- doubt we will ever know.
Sad

Sparks is solid. Plus you get to see where one of the most famous mob hits in history took place. It’s like stepping in a Time Machine.
I knew a few guys who lived across from the Pace murder. (Sharlo) They were inside in the middle of the day and they heard screams. It was her roommate walking in on the aftermath. Apparently was one of the most gruesome scenes BRPD has had.

I remember a checkpoint on Burbank and East Boyd. They had no leads and just stopping everyone to see if they saw anything.
Netanyahu said Israel had the ability to destroy every site, even the ones deep underground. Why not just let them handle it if that’s true?
Reminds me of the Serial Snuggler back in the day. That was some creepy but funny shite. Folded clothes and cooked breakfast.
Bates and Thigpen downtown. Super nice people and family owned. Plus they do a great job!
