re: OT Gambling Degenerates do you use a site for recommendations?
Posted by bott18240 on 2/20/26 at 9:15 am to Sweep Da Leg
If you have ever noticed, every add you see for the sites offer “parlay bonuses” or “parlay boosts”. The reason why, parlays rarely win.
The best sports gamblers are barely around a 60% win rate. So picking one game is hard enough much less tack on several.
I gamble but I don’t use the sites because they offer too much enticing garbage. I bet now and again at the casino in cash so I’m not tempted to bet the Hawaii game at midnight when I’ve been drinking on the App. I do one game at a time after looking at data and sites like pickwise, covers, and action network. If you are smart about it you can win. I have had three years of winning but granted I only do it on weekends typically.
And avoid the televised big games. The best bets are usually your games in shitty conferences not on TV.

Those poor families have to endure all these “theories” and online “sleuths” making so many unsubstantiated claims. The POS admitted to it. If he had an accomplice it most likely would have come out.
They released another batch of crime scene photos and didn’t even redact some of them completely. In one you can see Xana in a body bag with her hair coming out and then another with her face and cut up arm.
They will never get full closure with the amount of interest of this case.

Is that because they had some DNA that wasn’t his under her nail? I mean they had been out all night around people, the house was a known party house. Not surprising there is random DNA.
Although when arrested he did ask “if anyone else was arrested?”
And he did all that very quickly so who knows.
Personally I think he’s a narcissist to the max and did it solo. Oh and frick that loser.

re: Bill Belichick not being a first ballot HOF with 8 super bowls

Pretty simple. The media has a lot of votes for the HOF. He was never very good with or nice to the media. Little bit of payback. Shouldn’t be about that but it is.
The problem is the politics and media fanning the flames. Take an hour and watch Fox then switch to CNN. It couldn’t be more of a polar opposite on how they spin things.
It’s like the liberal media is creating an army of Manchurian Candidates who are too stupid to realize they are being manipulated. And that can go for both sides.

re: Spanish Town parade could leave Baton Rouge amid city-parish budget cuts
Posted by bott18240 on 12/4/25 at 10:46 am to Dantheman504
It’s simple math. The parade brings in roughly $5 million in revenue not inluding the balls and pre parties. So the tax income far out ways the expense to the city. And charities get a healthy cash injection. Canceling the parade would result in a net loss to the city and it would lose one of the few fun things it does well. Seems like a simple answer to me.
Tomorrow will be a shite show. They flooded the unity field. All of them will end up on the parade grounds. Somebody will do something dumb. That’s a great mix of people, frat kids and the people who lost their tailgate area and are pissed. Not sure LSU thought this through.
LSU email regarding safety
Posted by bott18240 on 10/13/25 at 11:57 am
Dear LSU Family,
The safety and well-being of the LSU community is our number-one priority. At all times, we seek to ensure students, faculty, staff, fans, and visitors have a safe and positive experience when on our campus.
In light of recent events, we write to assure you that we maintain significant resources to ensure public safety. On game day, we typically have 600 trained on-duty police officers representing LSU Police, local law enforcement, and state agencies to safeguard our community. We take full advantage of advanced technologies, including license plate readers, camera networks, and upgraded lighting, which allows for real-time, campus-wide monitoring and rapid response. Our law enforcement presence is fully coordinated. If individuals commit crime on our campus, they will be arrested, and we will work diligently to ensure conviction.
In the coming days, we will continue to review our resources and protocols to maximize the safety of the daily campus experience. As a community, we must also look out for one another. If you see something that doesn’t look right, say something. By standing together and staying alert, we make LSU safer for everyone.
As we enhance our public safety protocols, we will communicate these changes to our constituents, ensuring our full commitment to protect everyone who comes to our campus.
Sincerely,
Scott Ballard, Chair Matt Lee
LSU Board of Supervisors LSU Interim President

So much respect for what they did. I can’t imagine going to fight in that war at 19.

It looked like they were totally surprised when he said it. And I meant maybe the fbi didn’t want this out quite yet for one reason or another.

He didn’t give details. Just that a minister and family members turned him in. Did not say a word about the photos or anything. The Fox crew was caught off guard. They may have not wanted to release that yet.
I saw that also. He basically said they have him in custody. And that someone close to him turned him in.
He maybe polarizing to some. But he made clear and concise points that the left couldn’t argue with and he made them look dumb when they tried to debate him. This is just a sad day and nothing will fix these idiots because they are completely out of touch with reality. I hope he holds on.

I don’t think it’s passion about Cracker Barrel in particular. I think people are just tired of the woke, DEI bullshite. After years of being afraid of being cancelled the pendulum is swinging the other way and people are now able to tell that stupid shite to go to hell.

Lotta big financial companies in that building along with NFL HQ and Blackstone.

He most likely was asleep because of all that you mentioned. At 4 am after a party and drinking and whatever else. That’s not totally surprising.
quote:
I do remember it was highly suspected that he was posting on Reddit/Facebook posts related to the murder. Does anyone know if that was ever officially linked to him?
There is a four part doc on Amazon. They talk about this. There was one user whose picture was cartoonish looking but is an exact replica of a photo of Kohberger. The user asked all kinds of questions that raised a lot of red flags. He also mentioned the knife sheath about a month before that was made public. The questions he asked where basically the same questions he asked in grad school on a crime survey he was doing.
I would imagine this was 100% him.

They may release some things. But it looks like they don’t even know answers. Biggest theory was Maddie or Kaylee blew him off at the restaurant or maybe online. But apparently they couldn’t find any links to them having met. So that kinda throws this into the even more bizarre world.
My guess is he saw them out or something and one of them caught his eye. Thats the exact way Bundy ended up in the Chi O house that night. He was at the bar and saw one he liked and followed her home.
