He just can’t imagine a world where no one is afraid of the big bad catholic league because they are overrated. No one outside of NOLA cares one bit because they are just any other team on the schedule.

Truth is the split benefited them as they have less teams to compete against in the playoffs. The good 5A publics can and always have competed with them.

Who has said Chalmette is elite?

The only person on this board who for years has spewed propaganda about Chalmette and their conquests.

ChalmetteOwl
That is a logical and rational take, however you don’t get to claim you are some elite program and then hide away from other elite teams. As stated earlier the best team Chalmette beat this year had 4 wins.
This is very true….. Chalmette should just play their JV team. Maybe they can win that
quote:

Yeah, just go beat Karr and John Curtis as an average nonselect school that’s happy to get to the quarterfinals we had a whole arse party for the first practice that week last year

Dude, you flip flop more than a politician. The amount of propaganda you spew on here regarding chalmette, trying to convince everyone else that yall are some elite school. Make up your mind…. You are a doormat program or you are an elite program. Which is it?
quote:

Because you can miss the playoffs by losing to them in the regular season

So go beat them!
 wow

That’s even more embarrassing

I hope you don’t have kids and procreate this mindset of victim mentality into more people. But, that is basically Chalmette as a whole. Everywhere else in the state the GOOD publics aren’t afraid of private school teams. 1A is definitely the class for yall.
 you are embarrassing yourself, your school and your community.

You wouldn’t even play those schools in the playoffs so why do you care?

Thank You….. he thinks the Catholic League is the SEC and really they are more like the Sunbelt

No one is afraid of the Catholic league except Chalmette
quote:

So question… what percentage of the state would ask to be out of the Catholic League if you put them in? I say probably 95% of all nonselect public schools, and the other 5% are either in 2-5A or pretty dumb

I only care about contenders….. so out of the best teams in the state none of them would have a problem. You want to be the best you have to beat the best.

Which is clearly a concept Chalmette can’t seem to figure out

The two best teams in your district got destroyed in the first round. How does it feel to know that? Maybe yall should consider appealing to play down in class. Perhaps yall could find a good 1A district to help yall out.
It’s obvious you are mentally challenged.. I know this and so does everyone else. It is purely sarcasm. If Chalmette ever wants to raise a banner, MAIS is the only way. That’s how pathetic they are trying to manipulate scheduling just to get victories.
quote:

But yeah to some people there’s the Catholic League and every single other district in the state is the sisters of the poor

Obviously you have had too much Parish Diner and can’t comprehend the sarcasm…

You constantly are wanting your team to be in a district that would provide you with a better record, rather than, just playing whoever they assign you.

1. Because you realize chalmette is not and will never be anything than a doormat program.

2. See 1.

Someone made the comment of why not join MAIS. To which your response was that would be suicidal.

Which is ironic because, you are always wanting the easier path, and it would provide you the best chance to win a state championship.

Just play whoever they put you with. If you are the best, then it shouldn’t matter if you are in the Catholic league or not.

quote:

LP teams (Walker, Denham, Live Oak) gets the gauntlet of Zachary, Catholic, and Central…

This was the district for years….
I meant state champs….. district championships mean nothing when your district is comprised of Sisters of the Poor
quote:

I mean they can but they’d be committing suicide

Maybe then yall would be able to finally win a championship for the first time ever.
quote:

stalling any momentum we’ve built the past few years

Maybe just play where ever you are put and quit always trying to maneuver your way into a better record.

Yes, that is definitely the toughest baseball district in the state. They churn out college prospects.

FTR I have nothing against chalmette. They have never done me wrong as my Alma Mater has never lost to them in anything as far as I’m aware of. I just don’t understand some of the outlandish takes and topic domination on this board for them. Some people believe they are the Bishop Gorman of the state. I just don’t get it. Be happy you make the playoffs every couple of years in this watered down era and move on.

Thank You for your realistic take…I tend to agree with you for your football take. However, I honestly do not know much about Chalmette in baseball. How has their recent playoff success been?

 I’m so sure Ruston, Central, Destrehan, Neville etc. are relieved. More like pissed off that they don’t have an easy stepping stone to the next round.

Speaking of Destrehan… since it appears yall need some help with scheduling quality opponents. Why not play them every year?
