As an ex-Mo, I particularly enjoyed the digs at Mormon doctrine/history.

How's that process work? Do you just move out of Utah and they eventually forget about you?

I live in Louisiana and went through an attorney at QuitMormon.com to officially resign - hassle-free- from the church. Otherwise they will keep tabs on you and keep trying to get you to go back.

That is what gets me about this. Folks look to the Mormons like they are crazy - as of the beliefs of mainstream Christianity and other major religions do not require the same type of blind faith.
Hysterical play. But I wondered sitting there if anyone religious, instead of thinking of those silly Mormons, realized the joke was also on them.
Mormons are low hanging fruit on the illogical blind faith tree - but it is the same tree as the rest ......

All religion is weird when you get right down to it.

My parents took our priest to see it in NYC. He thought it was funny.

I saw it this weekend and enjoyed it. Some people in front of us did leave midway through act one

Hello! My name is Elder Upperdecker. Would you like to hear about the New Adventures of Jesus Christ?

Didn't see it this time but saw it on its first run through New Orleans a few years ago, I saw Les Mis a few weeks ago so I couldn't make it back to this one again, though I wanted to.
Musicals are awesome

I've seen it twice, would have gone a third but it was right around my wife's due date last summer.

When 'normal' Christians draw-the-line on supernatural things. Bruh, all supernatural nonsense is equally nonsense.
Normal Christians believe in a zombie God, and they worship him by pretending to eat his flesh and drink his blood.

Matt and Trey wrote it. Did you expect anything less than irreverent humor and a golden product?

I saw it in New York. It was good, but as usual, didn't live up to the Broadway "funniest play ever" claims. But Broadway critics do this all the time. It parades naked emperors around more than any other medium.
I think Parker and Stone sacrificed too much to get it made. South Park got a lot less biting of the left after it started playing. Gotta play nice with their new lefty stage masters, evidently.

If you think Matt and Trey are extreme liberals you're clueless.
