Posted by rbrous9 on 12/25/25 at 9:11 am
Any suggestions for a fishing charter outfit in the Fairhope, Al area? Headed down this weekend and hoping to book a last minute trip.
Redfish preferred, but trout would also work.

New Boat - need number stickers
Posted by rbrous9 on 10/29/25 at 9:35 pm
Picking up a new boat tomorrow and I will need to get numbers for it. Where would you guys get stickers made in the BR area? I'd like something a little more custom vs. the old school block letters.

In Search of Boat Hull Only - Prodrive, Gator Tail or Gator Trax
Posted by rbrous9 on 5/22/25 at 10:17 pm
Anyone here know of a hull only for sale in 1860 or 2060? I have been scouring the interwebs and marketplace looking for hull only and there just aren't many out there.
Preferably a center console model, but not a deal breaker if not as I can get one made for it.
TIA.

Thanks for the input. Opted for the glass door outdoor version.

Outdoor Refrigerators
Posted by rbrous9 on 8/7/24 at 9:16 pm
Anyone have any experience with Blaze outdoor refrigerators?
I am looking at a Blaze outdoor rated with glass door for the backyard.
Fully covered and no direct sunlight.
I am curious if they refrigerator will stay cold enough for beer and other drinks.

Ol boy nailed it. When running mud you gotta let that outboard eat.
re: Gun Case?

I have a Pelican and I added Magpul Daka organizer. I love it. I used to just have the foam and had to always stuff it between guns, however the Daka is much better.
Looks like we are pursuing the foam filled dock floats option. Damn this will be one expensive endeavor!!

Shipyard sounds pricey. Looking more along the lines of a small shop or just a guy who builds stuff like this on the side.
Houseboat construction
Posted by rbrous9 on 11/10/23 at 9:29 pm
Looking to build a houseboat/floating camp. Any suggestions for someone who could build the base frame (alum or steel) that would be on top of the floats assuming plastic filled type. Or perhaps someone that could build some aluminum floats. I can handle the construction aside from the aluminum or steel welding parts.
Camp would be located in St. Mary parish area.

I have a shotgun with a wood stock that I want to have cut down for a youth length of pull and install a new butt pad. Any recommendations for a gunsmith in the BR area that could do this?

Picked one up this morning. 4.25” model from Thompson Creek Sporting Goods for $1,349 + tax.
Who has the best price on magazines?
They are legit. I've ordered from them a few times. They appear to drop ship, so it may take a bit longer.
Definately the agressor. Which is where 2nd degree came into play.

Thanks for posting. I enjoyed the videos.
We ended up catching 3 perch and 3 bass. Not a very successful trip, but the kids had fun.
I'll definitely try Henderson at some point.

New to reloading so I don’t have much previous experience. I like it thus far about 500 rounds run through it.
