His espn commercial is classic.

Locks! Plunder the locks!
A signed photo from Gale Sayers. My dad wasn't much of a sports fan outside of boxing, but kept it figuring the "guy" must have been important.

I know it’s not new. The problem is that there isn’t a single mention of our own players in the commercials. They’re not marketed well at all.

It is marketed very well. Those tix packages are for a few select crowds:

Casuals fans

Parents who want to take their kids to see the big-name superstars

Fans who don't want to spend the coin on a full season and would prefer a few games throughout.
Every team in the league offers various ticket flex packages. This is not unique to the Pels.
I sent my wife out for a day to do whatever she wanted and invited my mother over to hang out with the kiddos.
I wasn't holding my lucky rabbit's foot. Trust me when you guys don't want to know where we landed.

Every team in any sport could play this exercise. The Pels are no special case.

Cousins was pure garbage

He played 50, maybe 60 games as a Pelican?

It blows my mind we traded away buddy for that piece of shite cousins

You either do not follow the NBA much or did not watch him play. No one could have predicted a future devastating injury. You make that trade 100 times out of 100.

He likes to spew out how much the NBA sucks, but always has a take. He falls into the category of the TD troll tryhards.

Nico saved the Dallas Mavericks $250 million. Everyone hates him for getting rid of no defense whining vape guy for Davis. A much cheaper contract for better production in picking up Davis.

You are really working hard to become the biggest troll on this board.

Whatever... I'll bite.

You mean the guy that in the last two years led his team to the Finals and WCFs?

Luka has his flaws, but even with them, he's lead his teams to Finals.

Fun fact...All Folgers Coffee is roasted right off of I-10 in New Orleans East just north of the highrise.

That is about the most fragrant part of driving through the city as some days you can get a nice whiff of freshly roasted coffee instead of a French Quarter sewer.

It is such a pleasant moment when crossing the highrise. Folgers actually has two plants. The one you referring to and another plant at the very edge of New Orleans east.

I remember when Griff had a #1 pick in a draft with a generational talent and a massive warchest on top of it. No GM has ever had it so good. It seemed like a situation too good to screw up.

In fairness to Griff, no one knew Zion would play 30% of his games as a Pel.
I don't care what the war chest was; every franchise would fail if their generational talent turned out to be a dud.

I never want this GSW/Hou series to end.

Why not both?

This is me for Shadoor (I've never bothered to learn how to spell his name).

It took you longer to type that out than to just look up at the thread title.

With the new acquisition on AAA, it would make sense for Finn to screw Dom and make Penta the champ to be the face of AAA.

Dom and finn can carry a feud without a belt

Or not
quote:

Normally I’d say no chance, but Haitch seems to love Penta so I could see him putting the belt on him and letting Dom/Finn feud without it.

Could also see Bron coming out and spearing the frick out of everybody.

There's no way Trips screws Dom after the reaction to him winning, right? Right?
Pat selling harder than Dean Ambrose and Flair combined
