I have gotten up in the middle of the night to pee in a hotel room and slipped and busted my arse a few times.

(CNN) Actor and comedian Bob Saget had Covid-19 but died as a result of "blunt head trauma," according to the autopsy report released today by the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office.
"It is in my opinion that the death of Robert Saget, a 65-year-old white male found unresponsive in a hotel room, is the result of blunt head trauma. It is the most probable that the decedent suffered an unwitnessed fall backwards and struck the posterior aspect of his head. The manner of death is accident," the statement from Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua D. Stephany said in his report.
The official findings echo what was said in a statement released by Saget's family on Wednesday, in which they cited head trauma as his cause of death.
The report noted that a PCR test showed that Saget, 65, was also positive for Covid-19.
Saget, who died in his Orlando, Florida hotel room last month, had said in December that he had Covid-19, and PCR tests can return positive results for weeks after recovery.
The autopsy also noted he had an enlarged heart; 95% blocked on one side.
No alcohol was present in his system, according to the report. However, the report stated, his systems contained Clonazepam/Klonopin which is taken for seizures, panic disorders and anxiety. Additionally, the antidepressant Trazodone was found in Saget's system, the report said.
CNN has reached out to the Saget family for additional comment.

A lot of times with severe head trauma people just go to sleep and never wake up.
You have evidence of this or just speaking off the cuff?

Are you implying he committed suicide by somehow smashing his own head?
Ralph's thing is saying shite so dumb the average poster would never think of it.

Sounds like he passed out and collapsed, then crawled into bed.
Sounds like you are naive enough to believe what someone hopes you will believe. Skull fractures from a fall and then crawling in bed? Come on, Peter Pan.

“This is significant trauma … This is something I find with someone with a baseball bat to the head, or who has fallen from 20 or 30 feet.”
Doesn't exactly sound like his injury could have even come from something like slipping and falling completely backwards in the bathroom, resulting in the back of his head cracking on tile floor.

I don't have access to the story but didn't it say fractures on 3 sides? What kind of fall fractures more than 2 sides of someone's skull?

He was taking benzos and Trazodone. He wasn't murdered but the drugs he was on suggest old school meds for depression and anxiety. He was a very unhappy man.
Is that a quote from the article, or your opinion on the matter? Benzo’s are typically for sleep or anxiety. Trazadone is an ancient anti-depressant medication that is used almost exclusively these days for insomnia. Which leads me to believe the benzo was probably for sleep as well if trazadone wasn’t effective.
It sounds like he had fairly bad insomnia, not that, “he was a very unhappy man”.
"Some neurosurgeons said that it would be unusual for a typical fall to cause Mr. Saget’s set of fractures — to the back, the right side and the front of his skull. Those doctors said that the injuries appeared more reminiscent of ones suffered by people who fall from a considerable height or get thrown from their seat in a car crash."
Sketch as frick, but as we are well accustomed to situations like these have a convenient way of never being solved.

I couldn't imagine taking a hit to the head like that and not seeking some type of treatment.
I've taken a couple hits to the head over the years that were nowhere near that, and always got checked. The most recent was a couple years ago when a porch post I had in the corner of an outbuilding near a door fell when I was closing the door. The way the building is puts the floor about a cinder block above the ground. I heard something when closing the door, looked back in, and bam! The falling post caught me on the back of my head right behind my ear. This was an ornate post off of an old house that was big and heavy. It took me by the neck down to the floor of the building.
I drug my head out from under it and went out for a second. My friend just happened to be around at the time and kept after me to call 911. The second time I started to go out I let him call.
I had no damage from it, though. Outside of what I believe to have been a light concussion, I was fine, but I was still concerned enough to at least let an EMT check me out. I had gathered myself by the time they got there enough to know I was okay, though.

A FEW TIMES? Bruh, either that’s complete BS or you have some serious issues. Throw some damn towels on the floor.
This has now become the sketchiest ‘celebrity’ death since Epstein. WTF!
ETA: how does one get those sort of issues and not have a single bleed?

He had recently been sick with Covid and recovered. Not unexpected that he would still test positive.

Who tf would want to murder Bob Saget?
Also I think most of us know this but I just feel the need to point out that the “pedo” references are from a Comedy Central roast and have no bearing on reality.

i think intelligent people either knew this, or figured it out, but there are a lot of people who obviously saw that roast being quoted here and assumed it was a fact
