Return to dark tower, a game based on the old one, has been recently released.

This is great news, I actually still have the original Dark Tower game but lost the dragon somewhere along the way. I'm pretty sure I could 3D print a replacement.

Clue. Play weekly with family. I usually win because I am smarter than them.

Terrafarming Mars ooooorrrrrrr..............

Next War: Poland

Ukraine is in turmoil: embroiled in a civil war which has lasted for years and the situation seems further from resolution with each year that passes. Clandestine support from both Russia and the West fuels the war and keeps any hope of peace at bay. In the meantime, the civil war in Syria and the fight against Islamic extremism gathers steam. NATO and Russia stare each other down in a "coopetittion" in the region, and tensions rise meteorically as not so "friendly" fire incidents occur. The West tightens sanctions against Russia and ratchets up its rhetoric; Russia, meanwhile, attempting to regain a place in global power politics, responds with sanctions of its own against Turkey and starts low-level cyber warfare and "little green men" incidents in the Baltics. Tempers flare across the world, Turkey shoots down another Russian plane while Russian SAM batteries shoot down a Turkish F-16 in retaliation. Russia declares enough is enough, decides on war with NATO, and invades the Baltics and Poland. Belarus, knowing where it's bread is buttered, joins in. Some NATO nations rush to the rescue while others debate the issue. Once again, Europe trembles to the rumble of tank treads and marching boots…

It's like they time travelled with Trump.

My son and I fire up the Axis and Allies '40 edition where we put the European and Pacific editions together and play the big map. Lots of fun.

I used to like the original TSR Dungeon board game.

As a kid I had A game called Dealer's Choice we played the hell out of that.

Another we enjoyed was Pro Draft. It came with a big deck of Topps football cards.

I’m obsessed with Stratego right now. It’s a pretty straightforward strategy game. It’s not very popular in the states though. It’s big in Germany/Netherlands and I stumbled upon a German site where you can play multiplayer online. My brother lives out of town and we’ve played hundreds of games against each other on the computer. It’s not a family game though if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s 1v1.

Monopoly is still the GOAT. First time the kids were old enough and we played with my wife, she was the first to go bankrupt. Then she says,”Well, when my family used to play, if we ran out of money, we just took more from the bank to keep playing.” We just looked at her for a second and then were like, “Get the f@#k out of here, bish - you out.”

You said family games... are there children in the mix, and if so what age(s)?

There are a lot of good ones listed in this thread so I can suggest some that play well with kids as well, here.

Also, what do you like? Hobbies, places to go and see? There's probably a game about that.
