I'd wager the ability (or inability) to attract the opposite sex has a very high correlation to the sexual orientation of a person.

How short?
The graph says that once they hit about 5'2 or below, there's a pretty good chance they are.
If you're doing the typical woman thing where "He's short! He's 5'9!" Then it doesn't count.

Looks like they started the poll at 14. Sorry, but if an adult is asking my 14 year old son questions about his sexual orientation and preferences we are gonna have a problem. Chris Hansen should probably visit these pollsters.

The 7-9% numbers don't sound that different from the numbers I've generally heard of the % of population that's supposed to be gay.
The 50% number seems pretty off the charts, though.
Anyway, from the (not always accurate) Google AI, there are some studies indicating that gay men are on average slightly shorter than straight men, but the difference is usually less than an inch.

The Western Region VP of the company I used to work for was 6'4" tall. Flew the corporate jet to a company meeting The CEO at the time, this was a multi billion dollar company was 5'5" tall. His chair was right next to the CEO. Before the meeting started he ordered someone to find a "shorter" chair for him.
