Yes. Let’s make this about politics even though it is a cartel issue......and we all know the Trump train rhetoric is about to start.

Mexican cartels have learned from the radical Islamic terrorist that in general Americans do not have the stomach for violence against themselves. Politicians and the general public cower when things like this happen and resolve to bargaining for peace or just pretending we are all friends and maybe the bad stuff will stop. In realities the only thing these animals respect and understand is equal or greater violence. In these cases it makes you/us weaker to take the high road. What should happen is the US should drop 10 - 15 Daisy Cutters on this whole town and kill everything that walks or crawls. And every time an American is killed in Mexico the town or village where they were killed should be leveled, and/or known cartel strongholds. Yea, we can't go bombing another country and all. Well, the Mexican government has proven over the last decade to be either A) Inept in controlling this violence that is spreading across out boarders AND B) Complicit in allowing it to continue and flourish. And besides, I bet if you look hard enough you'll find oil in Mexico and that's been reason enough for the US to bomb the shite out of places in the past.

Oh God how will you bear it?

If people can’t see that the cartels are a huge threat, then I don’t know what to say. These guys are better trained and better equipped than the goat frickers we’ve been fighting in the middle east. Hell, a lot of them are former Mexican special forces. They are a very dangerous group.

That Vice story was on the Lebaron clan, the group that was ambushed and killed.

The guy who made the mistake will likely be killed because putting the cartels in the news is bad for business. Nobody cares about them killing each other but killing an innocent white American family with children brings a lot of heat down. Just the real truth of the world we live in

There is also a large amount of Mennonites in Mexico. Primarily in the state of Chihuahua. They seem to live peacefully on there farms. I live in a border county in Southwest Texas and see them in town ever so often.
