You can rest assure there will always be a thread on severe weather on the OT while it is happening.

To be honest, this might be the best source for information when this things happen.

Here to Serve has been asked to go to Amory MS. So we will be heading out tomorrow as soon as Sysco makes our delivery.

I will post address of where we are setup when I have it.

Prayers for all those suffering there.

Some weather twitter people will act like not rating it EF-5 is a slap in the face of the victims but from what I saw in Rolling Fork this morning EF-4 is right. The damage indicators for EF-5 are basically nothing left but slabs which isn’t the case here. EF-4s are incredibly violent and powerful tornadoes too.

This one isn't really even arguable. DIs are at EF4, nothing was swept clean, and construction probably was an issue again.

And there was no delay to call in the pros with engineering like in Mayfield and others. That tells me that EF5 was never really considered. In the end, it doesn't matter. Lives and livelihoods have been lost. Whatever you call it won't change that fact.

It was a big mofo, that's fasho. I've been in the storm clean-up business and chased it all, hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms, etc. I've seen a lot.

The most horrifying thing about the Rolling Fork tornado is the path it took over that town. Lord have mercy.

I've seen larger-scale damage from bigger tornadoes, but few as heartbreaking.

God bless the people of that former town.

That is awfully close to Northeast Louisiana, did anything hit around there?

It started around Lake Providence. I didn’t hear of any Louisiana damage.

I agree. I didn’t see slabs swept clean, for instance.

It missed Mont Helena. I’m from Anguilla originally and still live thirty min from Rolling Fork. Parents live in Rolling Fork now. I was one of the first on the scene and have been helping with cleanup. Town is devastated. Clean up and first responders have been awesome. To many joy riders from out of town, that just want to see the destruction hanging out of vehicle’s windows videoing. They are Clogging up the streets and hampering progress from those trying to help. I was told around 5 pm yesterday two young boys were found still alive in the family dollar. Haven’t heard anything more than that they were airlifted out.

I'm watching drone video of RF and the number of cars slow rolling through there is surprising. You'd think people would have more tact than to joy ride through there when they're obviously not helping the situation. Be nice if they could be ticketed for some reason.

The below is from my friend who is from that area. A couple of us are in a group text together, he sent us this this morning I think it conveys the human aspect. He took his employees and equipment there about and hour after it hit and worked all through yesterday.

We have all seen disaster. Things horrible to see. I’m going to be honest here; it’s different looking at your home town after something like this. It’s just gone. All the places I went as a kid. Houses I hung out in and spent the night in. Gone. One of my friends parents were both killed when a Peterbuilt truck landed on their house. People walking around in a daze. It’s just different when we deal with strangers who are experiencing this in their backyard. I pray to God none of you ever see your friends and neighbors in this way. It literally wiped my hometown off the map. I felt guilty going home and showering and sleeping in a comfortable bed last night.
