Who are those people? Blackrock? How do you respond?

Occasionally, some calls too, just ignore them

I think these people find small homes and try to buy them to make them rentals. Happens to my dad pretty ofte .

Whoever they are they are from India.

Listened to Tim Dillon describe how excited he gets conducting fake business, mostly real estate. I got a text today as a matter of fact, inquiring about a home and if it was for sale. Now, do I own the home? Certainly not. But, I might or might not represent a client who does and might or might not be interested in selling. We’ll just get the ball rolling and see what happens. Why not.

I had an email from someone who supposedly wanted to buy mine. I just ignored it.

Constantly. As well as my parents house and my parents' former houses.
It's probably an Indian scam to get you to confirm your current address so they can link it to your phone number for later use or something (idk exactly but they do this)

No, but I get at least one per week in the mail.

I typically get the “wanna see my vagina” texts with a link- sometimes they just show me and a link

FWIW, this constitutes a legal contract.
Congrats on the purchase of a new home.

Even worse, I get prospective buyers that knock on my door.

Easily attainable via Google.

Not necessarily Blackrock but investment buyers. I throw an insanely high # at them and they dissappear.

I'm in a situation where I may give someone like Blackrock a shot at giving an offer within the next 6-12 months. Sell the family home in ETx and move to NWA or SwAr. If anyone has a good anecdote about how these cats work please share.

Not texts, but I've gotten letters in the mail from multiple people/entities making ludicrously low offers for my land.

I got a text today asking if I was to sell my house and citing my specific address.
