Tried to call this weekend to ask them a question. Had the phone on speaker while I was cleaning. 1 and a half hours later I was still waiting

They need to get the callback service American Airlines has. I called yesterday and left my number, and they called me back around 7pm. Was very seamless.

Side note - Shout out to Lauren at AA. My plan of action was to be a sweet cream cheese as I could, because I knew I technically was not eligible to have my change fee waived. She told me as much, and when she was changing my flight for me (for $245) I said something to the effect of "Oh, I totally understand. That's ok - I'm sure y'all are swamped right now". Lauren asked if she can put me on hold a second (I knew it must have worked at this moment), and when she came back she said "It looks like I was actually able to waive your $200 fee! I just found out I could right this moment."

Be nice to service people.

Flying to New Orleans on a Spirit flight next weekend. I'm fully prepared to catch this virus.

Flying to New Orleans from Fort Lauderdale with my family on Thursday. First early morning flight after the plane has supposedly been super sanitized at night

I'm flying to Seattle on April 2nd and then a 10 day cross-country road trip to VA. I'll pick up some Covid-19 for anyone that wants some.

One of my sons has a planned cruise in the Caribbean for the 3rd week of June.

I have a flight into Las Vegas and a hiking stint in the Grand Canyon the first week of June.

Nothing cancelled yet....

Yea we planned on going to Jamaica in May and are postponing. Dont want to end up stuck on the island or have to go through a multi week quarantine coming back if a case hits the islands while we are there. Just not worth it.

So we are going to Tenn instead and renting a cabin in the mountains

We have an 8 day cruise out of Miami in early May. The thought of getting sick is not a great concern but the wife is extremely worried that the cruise will get canceled or we will be stuck in quarantine when we get back. Hopefully all this fear mongering garbage starts seeing some blowback soon and we can get on with normal lives.

Half Moon Cay,

If I could take a cruise and just stay in one spot the whole time this would be it. It is absolute paradise

My MIL was supposed to watch our kids while we went away for the weekend but went to Belize last week and apparently got sick. She just told us today and all other options can’t watch our kids this weekend so yea, we are cancelling but not because we are scared of this stupid disease.

No but planning contingencies in case of flight cancellation. Luckily all of our flights are Southwest (MSY->DEN->SJD->MSY) so everything can be rebooked without a cancellation fee.

Yes I agree. This will be my 4th time at Half Moon Cay. It is incredible. I always try to catch the first tender boat from the ship to the island to maximize my time there

Don't cancel on a wedding for coronavirus. The airport will be fine.
