Took my family to Disney last month and corona crossed my mind going into it but I didn’t worry about it much then. The shite really started to hit the fan with rhetoric from the government in the US while we were already there so we didn’t really have time to worry and just enjoyed the trip but I think I would cancel any upcoming trip for the next couple months at this point just to be safe. I know odds are we would be fine but at this point I just don’t think it makes sense putting ourselves in a position to be at risk right now. I was discussing this with my little brother last night (also a fellow poster) and he mentioned he has a couple friends going to Europe next month. I say frick THAT right now. No way in hell would I go there right now. I’d cancel that trip even if I didn’t have trip insurance.

What says the OT?

Quite the contrary, I'm sending my wife on a trip to Italy.

Nope. I booked a NOLA weekend for Jazz Fest and am going whether the fest gets cancelled or not. At this point I'd be more worried about falling into a Bourbon Street puddle.

Not planning on it, but I'm afraid my trip to yellowstone is gonna be canceled due to a travel ban affecting my flight.

Trips are a bargain right now. The time to go is here.

Dude you really are a fricking moron.

The worst thing I have done around here has been to make shitty posters more acceptable and to the board I apologize, but dude you are a fricking try hard idiot.

It’s becoming more and more apparent that the only demographic that should be even slightly concerned is the 80+ crowd. All other age groups are affected the same or even less than the flu.

Long term, absolutely.

We were planning a trip out west in the fall and are looking at bargain prices.

I'm supposed to go to the Masters...

I've waited over 20 years to win tickets. I'll show up in a full body spacesuit before I'll cancel.

A friend of mine had to cancel a May trip to Italy and he is a poster. So at least one OP on this board had to cancel a trip due to coronavirus.

It's nice to see you've diversified from porn threads to whining about coronavirus.

I am going to Columbia, SC next week and Barbados the first week of April. At the moment both are a go; although I am starting to anticipate that work will cancel the trip to Columbia. Like hell am I canceling the vacation to Barbados.

I'm starting to think about what I should do about a wedding in Charlotte next Saturday. The maid of honor and one of the bridesmaids are already in quarantine after visiting Italy.

I think my biggest concern is the airports.

Nope. Going to Belgium in May.

The way I see it is worst case that the virus spreads like crazy, I'm not going to put my travel on hold when I'm just as likely to contract it on a trip to Publix as I am in another country.

Have a trip planed to Mexico in April.......just monitoring the situation to see what we need to do.

I am not so concerned about the virus as I am a travel ban of some sort that would prevent me from getting back to the US

Go and have fun. I just got back from that area. And note the number of folks wearing masks at the airport and especially at the large airport you originate from. A lot of masks are being used as a first line of defense.
