My buddy ate the boil snail to get a meeting with a procurement guy he met at my house. Then he chased it with a shot of boil water.

There was a snail about the size of a half dollar in the boil. He’s in med sales and the procurement guy from a local hospital is dating a friend so he was there. He was hitting the guy up for a meeting and he jokingly said eat the snail and you got it. So he did. Adding the boil water shooter was my idea.

The Amite, Comite, and Blind River are full of them. I even see them in ponds. I crush the eggs when I can get to them.

The good thing about this is the apple snail brings their own natural predators: limpkins and snail kites.

Limpkins gonna show up and mow them down. Our swamp got invaded by apple snails, then limpkins shortly after, and now we have negligible snails.
