The limpkins came in after Ida and smashed the population of them. Went from being everywhere to very isolated. On blind river there were empty shells floating everywhere.

Less a shot and more a nugget. We worked at a warehouse part time and we used them for frozen goods.

They have limpkins all over Swla now and have done very little to thin out the population as whole
They have isolated spots where have helped but no big change

The limpkins are already here. I seen a few in Jeff Davis parish....

Just started seeing the snail kites around. But then limpkins some bad arse birds. Everyone should watch one catch and beat/eat a snail. Nature at its finest

Can rat lungworm survive cooking.
I know people eat these snails in other parts of the world.

i took that picture in march at lacassine pool...i only saw a couple of limpkins then, but there were a lot of apple snail eggs, so i imagine more limpkins turned up over time...
