She was cool in highschool. Her family had their own money. They owned a camper sales business in town. From all accounts she was a surprisingly good mayor outside of some sex scandals.

Tell me you know nothing about the profitability of the insurance business without telling me. Do you know what residual commissions are? It’s like royalties on music. Agents/brokers are getting paid on policies they wrote 20 years ago (as long as they are in still force and paid). Many large, long-held agencies have multimillion dollar books. They make 15-30% every month those commissions are paid.

We also saw messages sent through the evening as Robert’s son told her what was happening was crazy and that his little sister was crying. He also texted her, “He is seventeen.” The victim of this case was identified as sixteen at the time of the alleged crime.
Roberts’ daughter also took the stand while her interview with investigators played. In it, she said she saw her mother and the young man, “on top of each other” that night.
