Anyone take benzodiazepines?

Like xanax and klonopin? They work but you can't drink on them. Anyone drink and still take them when not drinking?

Who says you can't drink on them? I don't recommend it but I also don't remember a lot when I do.

All I know is it’s a really bad idea to drink and take Ambien. It can frick your world up.

You can do both but I would not recommend it…. I take Xanax once in a

I don't recommend taking them. Never did anything for me but being who i am I still was eating kpins like candy. Worst withdrawals I've ever had, moreso than heroin or fent or anything. After that I wouldn't touch them unless I needed something to come down off some clear or something

I've drank on .5mg to 1mg tops. Not a crazy dose in any sense, but just adds to the ethanol effect. I would recommend never to get on them on a regular schedule. Nasty stuff to come off of..

Never taken any.
Heard that the withdrawals are as bad as anything. My understanding is they are almost never going to lead to an OD but withdrawal is very tough.
I had a friend who would drink on them and was 100 times more of a prick when he did (generally a very nice guy). I don’t think he was addicted though and not an habitual user so quitting them didn’t appear to be a big challenge.

Yeah, I meant on its own.

Reminds me of the time I started the afternoon in L.A. and woke up the next morning in Yosemite with no recollection of how I got there. Benzos and Jack don't mix too well.

Used to like those when I waited tables in college. And i did drink on them occasionally and I do not advise.

Klonopin really helps during panic attacks and peak anxiety but it makes me more depressed so I try to only use it in dire situations.
