Your a fricking idiot. I was prescribed them by a doctor and overtime it took more and more and became an addict. Stop trying to make excuses for your habit bc you can stop at anytime. BS
It's a bitch drug and people that take them can't handle life, end of story!! Your supposed to feel grief and sadness, pull up your big boy pants and deal with life. Life sucks at times and is hard. This country has programmed the masses to think they need a pill for everything.
No one wants to become an addict and it takes yrs sometimes before you even realize it's grabbed you. So suck a dick pussy

Yes I am the Kratom guy. I definitely will take kratom from time to time if I need it for pain. But not everyday. Like you said I have no self control when it comes to shite like that. For me personally it's better not to take shite on a daily or weekly basis or it becomes a bad habit.
I had about 5 to 8 bad years with all that shite. Lost alot of stuff in that time. Very blessed to have made it out the other side. This is my story and I'm not preaching to anyone and it's your life and that's how you learn. Good or Bad on it, make your own way. Im Just throwing caution with my experience. It's not safe bc your dr gives them to you. Just like kratom isn't safe bc you can buy it in a gas station

The fact that you’re reacting so defensively tells me that you’re in denial about being a drug addict. I’m not even trying to troll dude. It’s ok if you were an addict. We all have our vices. What matters is getting help and not letting those vices destroy your health. Don’t blame the drug though. Benzos will always have their place in medicine for appropriate use.

If you take them as prescribed for long periods of time even at .5 you will become dependent! I don't care who you are. And if your one of these people that think your immune come off of them for a month and come back and post your experience. Your take and understanding of these compounds will change. I promise

Ambien is a shite drug that should be banned. And the manufacturers be sued into non existent.
If you take Ambien get off of it asap. You are a ticking time bomb and you don’t even know it or will even remember it.

To the OP, don't mess with Benzos if you're not prescribed for something short term. I was taking 2mg of Klonopin for nearly 15 years (as prescribed for sleep)...ironically to get off of Ambien. A year ago, I went a week without it due to the shortage. Once I realized that my body was reliant, I started tapering off. I tapered .5 at a time, and every time it was the worst feeling. No doubt that I was having severe panic attacks at night, and feared I'd swallow my tongue having a seizure.
I was 23 at the time of being prescribed Klonopin, and had no idea that these things were made for short term use only. Never once did my doctor warn me of how addictive they are. You can't convince me that doctors don't make money hand over fist on these drugs.

Purdue pharma is pretty well documented in pushing doctors into selling the pill and lying about it being addictive. There is no question they are responsible for countless addictions.
There is also just the nature of proper use. Like others have mention, Xanax isn’t supposed to be taken every day.
Oxy was sold to people has a treatment to get thru pain.

I guess you can't comprehend what I'm trying to get across. I 100% take full responsibility for what I've done to myself to others. What I'm saying is that I didn't go in thinking about becoming an addict it happened over time. Correct these drugs aren't meant for long term use. I think the longest your supposed to take ambien is a couple weeks

I don’t take anything other than daily aspirin and heartburn meds. I do know of people who take Xanax when required to do things like public speaking, flying, etc. I know 2 guys at work that only do public speaking 2-3 times a year and it takes the edge off. My mom took them when she use to drive in Houston to visit my daughter. My daughter (no pics) now comes more often to see her grandmother after I fussed at her and my mom no longer makes the drive there. It can be used for good and help people, and be used for awful and be addictive. I was once on them bad but fortunately it wasn’t every single day and when I got off I was good. I was taking them 3-4 nights a week to help me sleep and ease hangovers

The drugs are designed for certain people. If they’re not for you, don’t mess with them.
