Tried it once. Drank, took one at end of the night for some reason. Woke up the next night.
Never again.
Never again.

was taking 0.5mg last time I took a drink with one. Zero to coma
You either took way more than .5 mg or had way more than one drink
More like, I took a .5mg with my FIRST DRINK. 10 drinks later blackout
Will Xanax get you drunk on less alcohol? Yes. Will it produce a more intoxicated state? Yes. Can high volumes of Xanax and alcohol suppress your respitory system and lead to death? Yes
But low does Xanax and small quantities of alcohol aren’t a genie. It doesn’t just go “poof” blackout

Not misinformation. Just my personal experience. It wasn’t poof, but in 15-20 mins, I was out for the night.
The guy who fills 90 hydrocodones a month has a different experience than the person who had a root canal and pops their first one, perhaps ever. Everyone has a different metabolic rate. What absorbs quickly for some is slower for others. I have an high uptake, therefore, for my system and experience, it’s a don’t mix them.

I take them 1-2 times per week to sleep and have for years. Is that bad?
No, this is the ideal way to use benzos if you need to use them long-term. You don't develop tolerance or withdrawal as you could with prolonged regular use.
