Unless your family is related on both sides I am not sure that is a thing.

My life story is very convoluted and so elaborate that it cannot be contained in one single post so I will spare you the details but, I have something to share regarding the DNA testing saga.
Fast forward to December 2018. My wife (view my post history for pics) has always bee intrigued by my life story and decided to buy us both Ancestry.com (after reading your thread, should be Incestry.com) test kits.
Now my whole life I have been curious about my heritage. My maternal side was always thought to be French, Spanish, & Italian and paternally English, Scottish, Irish, & Cherokee. My maternal grandmother would always kid that we are 'Heinz 57' kids. A blend of many different ethnicities and cultures.
My brothers and I have always had darker complexions and even got confused as Mexican when we moved from La to Tx.
My paternal Grandmother always claimed that we have Native American Heritage and even went so far as to become recognized by the Four Winds Tribe, Louisiana Cherokee.
Well, you can imagine my surprise when my DNA test results revealed no trace of Cherokee. You can also imagine my surprise when it revealed the results below.
Apparently my grandmother wasn't telling the whole truth. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, she just might not know all of the details because they were never shared with her.
So my darker complexion and affinity for big booty white women comes from a different part of the globe.
According to the results, I'm anywhere from 5-8% Sub-Saharan African.
Of course I shared this with the other side, my mother's side, of the family and they all said they had suspicions back in the day, but they were just that, suspicions.
I haven't had a conversation with my dad about it yet but I know that day will come.
So, my only questions about all of this is, do I get retroactive student aid, & do I qualify for reparations?

DNA testing shows the man who used to n let me drive his combine and would take me to the swimming holes in Oklahoma was a depraved monster..
You’re parents let’s you hang around your dickhead great grandfather?

I think she's just more embarrassed. I know my lineage on her side because while the monster was on her mind side. Her dad's side were all long lived learned people and as I have their DNA I know I'm personally good.
But now I know why my Grandma ran away at 18 and married my grandpa and ran off to New York with him. (They both were in school in Tulsa at the time)

There’s no telling what her Dad did to her. That’s sad. And he’s pure evil.
My Granddad would have probably done the same if he had the opportunity. Hell, maybe he did and I don’t know. He was twisted.

The stories didn't come out until he was in the ground.
He remarried twice after his wife died too. His wife died when he was 89.

My great grandfather used to rape his daughters. One had a baby and later killed herself way before I was born.
Wow. Holy shite. I don't know how I would respond to this.

Arky because that's Ground Zero of inappropriate sexual relationships.

Apparently I’m 0.5% from the Congo. Seems pretty dark, like Eddie Murphy dark.
A small percentage of human DNA is garbled and often untraceable. These companies have had employees off the record admit that sometimes they’ll label that garbled chunk “Congo” or some other third world ethnicity, literally just to F#€£ with John Q. WhiteGuy.

According to an Arkansas friend of mine, that's only up north of Greenbriar. Rest of the state is ok
Allegedly.

Not from those results. 2+1+1+<1 does not equal 5-8%

Not from DNA testing, but when my grandfather was on his death bed he told my grandmother that before he met her he was previously married and had a kid with that women. He was married to my grandmother for more than 50 years.

Not sure if this is a dark secret, but a gal I was seeing a few months back brought me over to one of her friends houses for a party.
Got to talking with one of the guys there and got on the topic of 23andMe and he said "boy, do I have a story for you"
Come to find out, his birth dad used to crank his shaft for money all the time while he was in college. The guy did the 23andMe thing and come to find out, he has 50 siblings

Yeah the "kid" is like 30 now. It was from the FloraBama I think.

None in my family, but three of my wife’s nieces learned they were each father by a different man none of whom were married to their mother.
