My wife took one and come to find out there were a lot of cousins she never new about. She inquired and after some prying, found out her grandparents were swingers, the grandpa had fathered other kids and none of the women ever told their husbands or anyone else that the kids may be illegitimate. Two of my cousins found out they’re only half sisters. They had no clue that “their dad” was only “father” to one of them.
I’m sure they could have lived their lives just fine without having that knowledge.

I dont really want to know... basically I'm a mutt that i know. European, eastern European, english, french Canadian, native American. It gets sketchy on my moms side. Native american, metis mixed in on my great grandmother.... it was a long winter in northern Saskatchewan. my grandmother was married 2x and dont know anything about first husband who is my grandfather.... her 2nd husband was an orphaned refugee from Eastern europe after ww1 so no known family tree.
