Nah. Don’t really care enough to learn about that stuff. I am here trying to make money and get laid today, not too concerned about the past.

If you have 1-2 % Nigerian, it means that you had an ancestor in the Middle Ages that was Spanish or Portuguese.

Yeah but it sounds like he was an abusive arse before the whole “uncle/cousin” part came out.

Yes, me and my brother found out for sure that our sky screaming sister was, in fact, kin to us... We were very disappoint.

I guess I’m in the minority here.

If I ever found out my dad wasn’t actually my father, I wouldn’t care the least bit. I’m in my 40s now and that’s the man I know, have known, and will always know will be my dad/father.

Wouldn’t even care who the real father would be nor would care to strike up a relationship.

Also, my wife doesn’t want me to take one of these tests until 18 years after we’ve. For unspecified reasons

Are you sure it's Oklahoma and not Alabama?

It would make a lot more sense if it were Alabama.

Anyone remember that story that was posted here about the woman who did one of these DNA tests and the family found out that the father wasn’t the real father and that the real biological father of all of the kids in the family was actually someone else? The man who had raised the kids thinking he was the father had a mental breakdown after finding out and ended up killing himself. It wasn’t the story of anyone here, it just got shared here.

Guess you are right. Turns out he was only a 1/2 sibling to his 3 siblings, and not related to me I guess. His mother was married to my mothers brother, who wasn't the biological father.

It’d be interesting to see how “England and Northwest Europe” are broken down with the successive waves of Anglo-Saxon, Dane, and Norman invasions in England.

Yea I took it and learned something pretty messed up so I deactivated my account, hopefully before anybody got an alert that they have a new family match. I’ve decided not to say anything to those involved for now. I think maybe after two specific people pass away then I will say something.

Do they post here and know who you are? If not, then you aren't hurting anything by posting it here.
