I spent about $40 a month on donuts for remote crews, anytime I had to show up to do an inspection, donuts made me a welcome sight.

One time I wanted to get a statement from some vessel dispatchers for an accident, I knew their boss would never let me talk to them. So, I went to the dispatch office at 6:AM when the dispatchers changed shift, with donuts and a box of Popeyes biscuits. Those guys couldn't talk fast enough, of course their boss found out and was pissed at them, pissed at me. Biu the judge let my lawyer enter what I got.

I have. I don’t buy enough for everyone, but probably 3/4 of them.

I don’t see it as trying too hard or anything but

People are always gonna hate on something. Might as well be me.

I have done this for years. I buy two dozen donuts or cupcakes every month to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries for team members. If no one has a bday or anniversary, we just enjoy and take a few mins and socialize.

I'm thinking about it. You know, for some good "PR."

Or you could just be a geniunely nice person and buy donuts for everyone because it's a nice thing to do.

What does the OT say?

You could put a pile of white sugar and roach legs on the break room table and it would be gone before 10:30 am.

I liked to get there a little early to put them in the kitchen anonymously and not take any credit. Just mystery magic donuts appearing from the other side.

You could bring in 2 year old Halloween candy and it will get eaten.

I'm buying the good stuff not Kroger crap. A local donut shop.

I’m usually a quality over quantity person, but this is a situation where quantity matters. You should get more than enough donuts for everyone. Better to bring in Krispy Kreme for everyone than a situation where only some get amazing donuts and others don’t get jack shite

You show up to a frac location with 20 dozen glazed donuts, you don't have to do shite for that 12 hour rip.

Yes, yes I have.
