Will I look like I'm trying hard?

Possibly. Let the receptionist send out the email. Somebody will eventually ask who brought them.

The best donut can be found in Lake Charles, Louisiana at Nelson’s. Hot.

When I started working in an office environment, the team had a breakfast club where everyone would pay something like $5 a month into a fund and the boss’ assistant would buy donuts or whatever for the office on a Friday and make up the difference with a company credit card.

Everyone paid, whether they ate or not, and everyone spent a few minutes socializing to start their Friday. A new hire who was a single mom was very vocal about not paying and convinced another single mom to stop paying. The boss shut down the club because these harpies said there was pressure to pay and he knew it was an HR disaster in the making.

Single moms and Aggies - two groups you should never hire more than one of.

I buy them for my customers all the time. I always do assorted along with a few kolaches. Chicken Mini’s from Chick Fil-A are also a good option. Get the honey.

One of my sons brings donuts with him when he attends meetings with clients in the field. Recipients appreciate that.

I'm also bringing orange juice.

No

I learned a long time ago that people will bitch about anything. Some will want water. Some will want coffee. Some will want OJ. Most people have a tumbler with a preferred liquid for the day anyway

Simply use your OJ money to buy more donuts

It depends a lot on the social dynamic.

If it’s for the department team, cool.

If it’s for everyone, brownnoser

My go to are stuff like kolaches though. Chick-fil-A occasionally
