Really since Covid it’s just felt like everything is insane. Recently though things are starts to feel normal. Havnt gotten a raise or anything just got used to what stuff costs I guess.

Probably means it’s time for another jump.

Just paid $50 for 2 hamburgers, fries & onion rings and 2 drinks in Fredericksburg, TX.

Did not even blink anymore. Just took it like a bitch.

Consumers hold all the power. All we have to do is stop the crazy spending, prices would come down quickly. As long as people keep spending, prices will keep going up. Even in broke a__ Central MS, every restaurant and store is full.

My income has gone up too. I don’t think it’s kept pace with inflation.

Heck, when adjusting for inflation, it is a lot cheaper now than during the Biden fiasco.

So glad that clown ran out of lipstick!

Nah, ate lunch at Firehouse the other day. I got a regular sized sub and added a drink and chips since I was dining in. $17.50 and then they asked for a tip. I was shocked. That meal isn't worth $20. They can keep it.

When it just took $75 to fill up my little 17 gallon Toyota Tacoma the other day, that’s when I knew gas prices are officially getting out of control. Was $4.19 for regular unleaded.

I’m still amazed every time I go to the grocery store for just a few bags of simple items. Sticker shock hits me every time.

At the pump, I’m definitely noticing the increase in gas prices when I do a
3-4,000 mile snake trip. Everglades 2 weeks ago, West Texas next week.

You aren’t kidding man. I remember when you could see a good concert for like $30-$50 for the “cheap seats”

Now the cheap seats at $150 and up.

That’s like asking if you’ve gotten used to being arse raped, and the answer is still NO.
