I have it and have used the service. Yellowfin doesn’t change flat tires

There are several folks on here who are a member of AAA, but not as many that are a member of AA

I paid $160 towing fee, to go about 5 miles, a few years back. Bought it right after. Used it since. It's worth it for me, as a small business owner. Especially if you get the 100 mile tow range.

It is worth it to me for sure. Knowing that if my wife or daughter (no pics) have a flat tire or have other roadside issues somebody will be there to help them is well worth it.
We've used it a few times over the years.
Same here

Definitely worth it. My teenager went through a flat tire phase and a dead battery phase. It was great just to use the app to get service, and then you're able to track the driver to see when they'll get there.

But I got a wife and daughter (pics around somewhere online) on the plan...
Dead battery - AAA
Locked keys in car - AAA
Flat tire on roadside - AAA

I use the discounts it gives me at Marriott

I went ahead and bought it. $167 for the wife and I. The top spot includes home lockout service.
I just knew as soon as I said “nah”, disaster would strike and I’d need some insane vehicle tow 189 miles.
You get 14 months if you sign up for auto renewal. We shall see how it goes.

Last time I was in New Orleans a guy tried to get me to join. He seemed enthusiastic. He was yelling "A! A! A!" at me from across the street.
I was a little worried he was trying to get me into AA at first. You know how those proselytizers like to harass visitors to New Orleans.

Try to make it a habit to see if places you frequent offer discounts, and you should be able to put a sizable dent in that.
Hotels, tickets, car washes, etc.

A lot of the free towing/tire change options are included benefits with some credit cards and auto insurance

Triple S has better deals
Can’t beat $4.99 for an 8 piece dark

We have it for my wife. She definitely has used it before and it's nice for my peace of mind.
Anyone who has older parents or grandparents driving, particularly older women, should have them get AAA. My folks had it for 25+ years, and my Mom kept it after my Pops passed away. She went to eat with her sister-in-law and they ended up with a flat. It was on a big arse Tahoe, of course. They got enough air in it to get home to my Mom's house. They called me and wanted me to come change the tire. I just told them to call AAA because they were already home, and they would cover it because my Mom was with her. That saved me having to fight with that big arse Tahoe tire and the bullshite spare tire holding system Chevrolet uses on those damn things. Been there, done that, cussed alot.
My aunt called and got AAA the next day.

I’ve got all that crap but it’s service and response time. Trying to get my wife with a crying infant to figure out to call Amex for assistance is a lot more difficult that saying “Call Triple A”.
Most towing is 50 miles. If I’m in Houston, I can get a tow back to Lake Charles easy. And they give you a free rental car for a day. Seems kind of worth it.

Absolutely worth it! And their battery service is great too.

I didn't want to go to Triple A for free, the only reason I did was for the Funny Bone.
Posted on 6/2/21 at 7:26 pm to TSmith
You don't even have to call AAA any more.
You can request service via the app and get text messages telling you ETA.

If you are a member and are riding with someone you can use on their vehicle for flat, towing battery etc.
This is a really nice perk.

I almost made it to the majors but couldn't get past AAA

I used to get hammered at Triple A. Especially when they used to give out the drink tickets
