re: Where did you get your tickets for broadway shows? - MissTiger91
Went thru Ticketmaster so they'd be legit tickets. We say Dear Evan Hansen (it was good) and Hadestown (it was phenomenal)....

re: The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle (murder mystery with a twist) - MissTiger91
I loved it! It was trippy for sure. I found I’d have to go back and re-read sections every now and then. Definite 5 star read for me....

re: Washington D.C. trip - MissTiger91
We took a tour of the monuments at night. It was spectacular and we had a full moon that night as well. Those were some fantastic photos. The Korean War memorial was especially haunting at night....

re: Broken toe - MissTiger91
Any updates on broken toe?
Thanks for checking on me. I didn't get xrays. The bruise has mostly faded, the swelling has gone down and no more bone clicking when I walk. I'm still keeping it buddy taped. The pain comes and goes, but is much better than the day I did it. Am I stil...

re: Broken toe - MissTiger91
How did you break it?
I kicked a grocery cart by accident (yes I'm that clutzy). It seems like the break is closer to the foot than the end of the toe. That's where I'm getting the bone-clicking-on-bone sensation. I've broken both pinky toes before, but this feels a lot worse and ...

Broken toe - MissTiger91
Is there anything to do for a broken toe other than tape it to the next toe and take pain killers? How long will it hurt? It has swollen and the bruise comes halfway up the top of my foot. This is not the pinky toe, but his next door neighbor :wah:...

re: New York City Hotels for families - MissTiger91
We stayed in the Hyatt Centric near Times Square and Broadway in July and it was great for a family. Large room for $275ish. Starbucks and Juniors are within a block for family breakfast choices. We felt very safe there. Have fun! ETA: Since you listed Broadway shows, I can highly recommend Dear ...

Broadway shows and places to eat before/after - MissTiger91
We're going to see a few Broadway shows next week and would like some restaurant recs for before or after the show. My kid is a 17 year old theater fanatic, so bonus points if you can recommend a place that would be a fun or interesting experience. We aren't picky about type of food, as long as it's...

re: NYC Trip Report - MissTiger91
By all indications, taking a taxi is much "easier" (almost by design [:tinfoil:]), but regardless, you can still get stuck in traffic on the way in.
So do you think it's easier to do the bus/subway, or deal with this taxi frickery?...

re: Best/Worst vacation you’ve ever had - MissTiger91
Worst: road trip to DC. All 3 of us got food poisoning when we stopped at Gettysburg (Hanover, PA). Violent diarrhea and vomiting non-stop for 12 hours. The hotel should've deemed our room a Biohazard. Finally got to DC and had a great time, but we often look back and laugh at the "Battle of Hanover...
I have to warn you, it is extremely hot.
Is it like LA/MS hot or Sahara hot? I'm heading there in 2 weeks and I've been watching the weather. It looks like it's about 5-10 degrees cooler than we are in MS, so yay!...

re: How to win at the points game? - MissTiger91
got the southwest rapid rewards card for another 60k bonus
I did this as well and life was good. Until Southwest pulled out of Jackson  Sometimes the cost savings was worth driving the 3 hours to NOLA (even getting a room if needed), but more often than not, it sucked havi...
