Anybody have any family members make a fool of themselves at Easter Dinner?

I have a cousin who is a straight up feminazi. She scored a 35 on the ACT and got a 4.0 in college. She thinks she deserves a 6 figure income for this but her major was art history and now she works as a cashier. She openly blames white men for this.

Well, she went on a rant about how Academy is sexist. She went to the store and counted how many clearance racks were in the men's clothing section and how many were on the women's. there were more on the men's so of course...discrimination and sexism towards women. There is no way that any of this has something to do with the shopping habits of women.

So, she apparently didn’t have her achievements translate to college. All that and no post-grad degree?

Sounds like it’s a mental/psychological issue more than academics. The high scores mean nothing when someone is crazy.

I have a family member who has made a fool of himself way before Easter and probably will continue to do so. It's in his DNA.

She keeps talking about getting her masters but has never gotten around to it. I think she likes being a victim.

What does a masters in art history do for you? Does it get you promoted to assistant manager?

She can't be too smart. She chose art history as a major.

35 on the ACT doesn’t mean you have any common sense

And I have to imagine a 4.0 in art history is pretty normal

My uncle is the crazy Bible beater. My aunt is rather annoyed with him. She wanted to say grace before the meal and just before she began, uncle says "can I blow the sheephorn before you say grace". She said "whatever uncle do whatever you want to do". So uncle started to talk for a second and aunt says "you said you were just going to blow the horn, just blow the horn". He went into a 2 minute sermon about why he's going to blow a sheephorn, proceeds to blow the sheephorn, and then my 5 year old nephew looks right at him and says "that's really annoying".

I wish I had enough free time on my hands to go count clearance racks at Academy.

My daughter's undergrad degrees were in Art History and Studio Art so I actually know the answer.

A masters and PHD in Art History gives you a couple of paths. You can teach at a university or you can go the museum route to become a curator.

My daughter decided to get her masters in Art Education and is now a high school art teacher for Fairfax County. She'll make a nice living teaching for the county school system.

However, the undergrad degrees don't qualify someone for much of anything as the OP's cousin found out.

Anyone still talking about their standardized test scores even one day after high school graduation always threw up red flags for me. Most of the time they're lying. The ones that aren't lying are looking for reasons to justify their inflated sense of self importance. Either way, stay far far away. Let someone else bask in their self pity.

We have an uncle who is in theatre. He brings his theatre friends to some holidays and they typically start talking feminazi/SJW talk about 5 mins after arriving. Most just go outside and drink and ignore, you can’t argue with people who think emotionally not logically so we don’t waste our breathe. We don’t let it put a damper on our holidays.

Did it involve him being Jewish?
